FANTASTIC! This place doesn't perform culinary arts. Globowl is practicing culinary alchemy. With the marriage of fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and amazing chef skills, my taste buds were temporarily suspended in the stratosphere. I have never experienced anything like this.
The only hard part was trying to decide on one dish from the many tempting choices on the menu. Everything sounds incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lauren, the owner and chef is a wonderfully interesting character. She comes from a background of international living as well as an eclectic blend of American experiences. Lexington is lucky that she decided to open her restaurant there.
I've noticed on other reviews, here and on other sites ,that people are mentioning "proteins". There are some "add ons" available that would be more aptly called sides. Most of the dishes contain protein rich ingredients. Mushrooms contain 9 amino acids making them a complete protein. Quinoa is a complete protein. Most selections have legumes of some sort. Again, these are plant proteins. Cheese has protein. I see the selections as well thought out as far as being nutritionally balanced and then created with the flavor being very important.
My wife and I had a zen bowl and we WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! It's very rare that I eat someone else's cooking and don't find the need to add a little salt or pepper or find the dish too salty. The zen bowl was quite literally PERFECT. Can't wait to be in the area again so that we can experience another sensational selection.
If you are any where near Lexington, the food is worth the extra drive. You don't need to be a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or have any diet restriction to appreciate the amazing creations this place is producing. Believe me, you won't be disappointed and when you're done eating, your body will thank you for the delicious nutritious experience.
Wish all of you the best at...

Vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore ready with exquisite dishes from salads to soups to apps: everyone will find SOMETHING here.
All dishes let the ingredients do the talking and are neither overly sweet or too salty. The tender chicken I had with my mediterranean salad (the falafel is to DIE for) was lightly dressed with a tangy sauce and fell apart from my fork. Tzasiki sauce was wrapped in dill and begged for the falafel to take a dip (which was busy swimming in a delightful avocado sauce of its own).
Healthy scripted drinks, straight from the Himalayas are ready for your palate: hibiscus tea and Golden milk slapped with turmeric will align your Chakras.
Highly recommended is the empanada (carnivore or veggie friendly) which contained a misto of savory meats, fried to a delicate crisp, and can be consumed, without care, in 3 bites. Sharing is NOT recommended.
My wife finished her meal with a boiling hot cup of the lentil soup, blending light spices with vegetable fusion. Sad to say, I could only taste with my eyes, as she protected it with fury!
A delightful and refreshing lunch stop. Catch them during their 4 hour tenure or you...
Read moreWe were in Lexington briefly, and wanted to get lunch. Based on an Internet search and a recommendation from a local, we came here. There was about 35 minutes left till their stated closing time, but when we walked in, the counter person said, "you can get food to go.
There were multiple people sitting and eating on site. Did not feel welcome or accommodated at all, even though we had not appeared at the last minute, so we went somewhere else and had a really nice lunch. Maybe not as healthy as we were looking for, but...
Stated hours were closing at 3. We appeared at 2:25. If you don't want to accommodate people within your stated hours, then change your hours. I don't like to give a negative review when I haven't even tried the food, but...
