I cannot rave enough about Happy Sushi! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, perfectly blending modern elegance with a traditional Japanese feel.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a masterpiece, crafted with care and the freshest ingredients. The sushi rolls were beyond incredible, each one bursting with flavor and beautifully presented like a work of art. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and you could truly taste the quality in every bite.
The menu has such an amazing variety that there’s something for everyone. Whether you're a sushi lover or trying it for the first time, you’ll find the perfect dish. Their signature rolls were out of this world, and the creativity in their combinations left me wanting more.
What really stood out to me was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and truly passionate about ensuring a top-notch dining experience. They took the time to explain the dishes and even recommended a few options based on my preferences, which turned out to be spot-on!
I left Happy Sushi with a full belly and a happy heart. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every aspect—from the food to the service to the ambiance—aligns so perfectly. If you’re in the mood for sushi that’s beyond exceptional, Happy Sushi is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you will not be...
Read moreOne of the best places to have sushi in Lexington. They have unlimited sushi which is an amazing deal. I have never found a place in Lexington which offers unlimited Sushi.
The lunch deals are pretty frugal and money saving. You can get lunch specials for $15 and dinner specials for around $22. The lunch specials won't have the entire menu but it is a very good deal for $15.
Make sure to eat the entire items that you are getting because you need to pay for the items that are not eaten. It makes sense because they don't want you to order too much and waste food.
Gyoza is my favorite appetizer. I usually get at least 3 plates of Gyozas. Seaweed salad is a yummy appetizer too. Shumai is pretty decent.
Californian roll is the safe one to get if you don't know what you want. They have inidividual sushi's too which would be great to try if you don't know what kind of rolls you like. Unagi (Eel) is my favorite.
They also have Sushi special appetizers (Dinner specials only) Tuna Tataki is my favorite. Also be aware that special Sushi appetizers take a little longer to prepare if they are busy.
They have 3 kinds of desserts and I usually get the green tea icecream. Give this place a try if you want to try all kinds of Sushi for a...
Read moreMy review is based on the all-you-can-eat menu, I haven't tried the à la carte menu, so I don't know the differences there. I've been here about 5 times now, and had a pretty consistent experience each time. The menu is fairly diverse. Decent sushi selection. No crazy unique rolls, but a good enough selection. The sashimi selection is pretty good, and better quality than I expected from an AYCE place in a strip mall. Very good variety of appetizers. Try the pork belly buns! Great service! Better than expected for this style of place. The servers typically know the menu well, and are happy to share their recommendations and favorites if you need guidance. Today's server noticed my 9yo struggling with chopsticks, so he brought over a homemade set of cheatersticks, held together with rubber bands. That was a nice touch. If I had to nitpick, I would ask them to get new markers for the dry-erase menu that you order from. The ones at every table seem to be unusably bad. Other than that, this is a great meal for...
