I went to Niko's Grille with three of my friends, and we had a great time. The place has a super cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying some really good Greek food. Overall, we left happy, though there were a couple of small issues.
We started with the Koukouvayia and Greek Meatballs, and both were awesome. The Koukouvayia was super fresh and tasty, with crispy bread and just the right amount of feta and tomatoes. The Greek Meatballs were juicy and tender, and dipping them in the tzatziki with the warm pita was so good. For my main, I had the Greek Salad with Gyro, and it hit the spot. The gyro meat was perfect, and the creamy dressing tied it all together. One of my friends had the Gyro Sandwich with fries, and they loved it—plenty of juicy meat and lots of tzatziki.
The only downside was the Hickory Barbecue Burger. My friend ordered it medium, but it came out well-done, which was kind of a bummer. It still tasted okay, but definitely not what they were expecting. Other than that, everything was great, and the service was friendly and quick. If you’re craving some solid Greek food, Niko's is a great spot...
Read moreWe were in town for a football game, travelling team, and went to Niko's Grille for breakfast. The restaurant was busy, but managable. We were seated right away, however when our waiter came he was abrupt, and rushed us to order. We waited over 20 min for our breakfast, never was offered more coffee, and after seeing others receiving their breakfast inquired. Our breakfast was brought out cold, cold eggs and cold toast. Our waiter never asked about anything. We discussed with the hostess, who was very kind, she took our meals, had the kitchen warm them up, and then delivered them back. They were "warm" but not hot, but edible as we were starving. As i was eating the breakfast potatoes i felt something hard in my mouth, spit it out, and found two (2) small stones in my potatoes! Yes, stones/rocks, we immediately informed the hostess and she was extremely apologetic. Needless to say, we did not eat anything more and left. I don't know how the dinner is at restaurant but i do NOT recommend the breakfast for multiple reasons. i feel genererous giving...
Read moreOur visit to Nikos was nothing but disappointing. We come every year from Florida for a Family Reunion, and have made it our little tradition to eat at Nikos every year because we loved it so much. I am originally from Greece so it was always nice to see a good Greek restaurant in town - however - not sure if Ownership has changed in the last couple years, but the food was (sadly) awful. We ordered a Saganaki (Flaming Cheese) appetizer and it came out already burned on the bottom, a sloppy piece of Cheese, and when our waiter tried to “light it on fire” he burned the cheese even more AND the napkin underneath it, serving it to us with ashes….for $15!!!! We also ordered a large Greek Salad with Gyro meat on it, and the meat looked paper think sliced pieces, cold, with a very uncomfortable taste….and lastly, their special for the day was a Chicken Quesadilla (?????) - at a Greek Restaurant? Very confusing, and disappointing experience. Sad to say not sure we...
