Saul Good Restaurant & Pub — Restaurant in Lexington

Newest Update 11.1.2023 We wanted to give Saul Good another shot but it was just a disappointment. We waited nearly 5 minutes to be sat even though an employee came out and watched TV for a minute. If they would have at least acknowledge our presence and said “we will be right with you” that would have been okay. Instead they would pass near us and there was no acknowledgement. After we got seated it took another 15 minutes or so for our orders to be taken. The steak nachos were half the size that they used to be. (Look at my pics). Their drink glasses are also tiny. It is a shame because there food is so good but we won’t be back. We have given multiple chances.

Update: My husband and I drove across town to eat lunch here on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We had specific dishes in mind (West 6th Beer Cheese Nachos & Argentinian Pizza) The waitress put menus down brunch and neither item was on the menu. We asked the waitress and they don’t sell those items until after 2pm. My husband and I looked at each other and the waitress said “It’s okay if you leave”. She was very friendly about it. She could tell we were shocked. We did end up leaving and went somewhere else for lunch. I looked and didn’t see anything about that restriction on the website. (maybe I missed it) Both the items we wanted were listed in the “lunch” section online.

Hi all👋! As some of you may know, I am a medical traveler, currently assigned here in Lexington,KY, and I really like checking out local eateries, stores and coffee shops as I travel along on my journeys! So I'm going to tell you of my experience at Saul Good Pub here in Lexington on Saturday 2/27/21! So once again I went with a fellow traveler from work and had a very Nice and Relaxing experience! As is customary now a days, mask are required and the spacing of tables made it comfortable to talk and walk without bumping into someone from another table. Our server was Nathan and he was truly what we all want our servers to be(friendly, knowledgeable and attentive but not overly so)!! So this restaurant has the smart phone scan thing that lets you pull up the menu on your phone(also have printed menus if it does not work)! Our Appetizer was the Buffalo Chicken with ranch and celery!! We both ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta and I ordered the White Chocolate Cheesecake to go! Yall, this was Fan-freaking-tastic!!! The portion was enough to eat there and take home! The price point was moderate! The style was casual dinning! Also had a Nice mix of music playing(but not to loud)! Nice layout and flow! Very very nice experience due in part to Great service by Nathan and the comfort of the restaurant itself(we stayed past closing and they didn't kick us out) 👍👍!! Think I may Go back this weekend too!!...

My friend use to come here a lot when I would come into town pre-covid.. With that said we decided to visit one of our favorite dives ... And I was so highly disappointed 😞. Our server was friendly but not knowledgeable about the alot of the menu ( meaning some dishes, the night event that was going on from a neighboring 🍺 brewery.. and when she took our order she forgot my drink and took her another 10 mins before she returned with it someone else brought the food and we had to ask those staff for silverware and when she came to the table she brought napkins a spoon and knife. Lol and the menu had changed and the old dishes which had both been changed the Asian lettuce wraps have now become only a salad with plain chicken lined on the outside of the bowl And the Cajun Chicken pasta What happened? Not the same and no kind of bread with a pasta dish? And to top this evenings experience, The lights outside where we ask to be seated were turned off on us at 9:40 Friday Night And we were only into about 30 to 35 minutes of this dining experience And when my friend paid for the ticket I simple wrote on it.
