I AM REPOSTING THIS FOR A SECOND TIME SINCE EITHER WENDY'S MANAGEMENT OR District MANAGER BRANDON FAIRCHILD REMOVED IT SO NOBODY WOULD KNOW ABOUT MY BAD EXPERIENCE.......I came in on 7/17/24 at 7:21 pm and ordered some food,I had just got done working a 10 1/2 hour shift and wanted some food to take home to eat for me and my wife. The young man that waited on me and took my order was named Gamaliel, that what was on the receipt I got and still have.He was not very nice or polite about taking my order he had a hard time understanding what I wanted,I was ordering a biggie bag for myself with a double stack and I politely asked for a additional double sandwich just the sandwich itself and he asked if I wanted 2 orders of the same thing and I said no sir I want the $5 biggie bag with a double stack and I would like another double stack sandwich just the sandwich by itself and he said what's that a baconator and I said no it's the double stack sandwich that comes with the biggie bag and he had to turn around and look at the menu and see what I was talking about... I found this weird because he's worked at that Wendy's for a while and I know because I've came in before and ordered something and he took my order and wasn't very professional and nice that time either...he gave me my cup and I went to get my drink at the machine in the lobby and it was broken and was disgusting... there was dark syrup all over the machine and running down the side of it and some on the floor which there was no floor sign anywhere and no out of order sign on the machine ...nor did they think it would be good to clean the mess up and just leave it there ....I asked the young man if he could please get me my drink for me since the machine in the lobby was broken and he asked what I wanted and I clearly said regular coke please...so he got my cup and went around the corner to the drive thru machine to get my drink and everyone else that worked there INCLUDING THE MANAGER was just standing there watching him and he proceeded to say something to them in Spanish which they all started laughing and looking at me as I stood at the counter waiting for my drink...he came back with my cup and I said thank you and left...now I assumed at that time is was just something funny said to them....I didn't know what he said to make them all laugh until i got outside and took a drink of my coke...they we're laughing because he said and intentionally gave me a diet Coke instead of regular coke...I couldn't believe that he would treat a customer like that and I was very surprised that a MANAGER would let a employee act like this towards a paying customer and simply laugh about it...what if I was a diabetic and needed a diet coke and he gave me a regular coke instead....that would be a big problem then... because they would have been looking at a medical problem...my food I got that day wasn't very good...the fries were very old and cold... weren't even warm at all...the nuggets looked like they were cooked twice...I've never never had such a terrible experience at a fast food restaurant as I did that day...and like I said I'm reposting this again because either Wendy's management or Mr FAIRCHILD removed my first post....Mr FAIRCHILD did call me while I was at work and was extremely busy where I couldn't take his call...He wasn't very eager to talk to me apparently and figure out a way to make this better....I find it hard to believe that he didn't leave a voicemail and say I'm sorry for your experience and he didn't call me from his personal phone number so it would be easy for me to call him back directly...no he insisted called me from the the Alexandria drive store... now why would I call that store and ask to speak to him when he's not ever there I'm sure of....and I wouldn't speak to any manager there about what happened because one of them just stood there along with all the employees and laughed...she was a very short manager with long black hair.... hopefully this store gets closed down soon so nobody has a bad experience like I did...I know...
Read moreI went through the Alexandria Wendys for a $5 biggie bag and a frosty. I ended up being charged 14 dollars and 18 dollars, so I asked the lady at the counter what happened. She at first said she didn't know, until I asked for my receipt. She tried telling me that I couldn't have a receipt because they were out of paper. I asked her to write one down and note the reason for me for my records. Then she all of a sudden realized she had swiped my card twice. Once for my order and then for another person's. Even with that, none of the food I was given was mine. I pointed that out to her and she got the manager. He came over, dug through both bags to figure what the food was and passed that same food out to the correct other customers. (After having unwrapped / handled every bit of it with no gloves when plus he had been counting money from another register!) They made my food and the manager told me afterwards that he had already refunded everything and apologized. I still never got a receipt, a valid explanation and worst of all, NO REFUND for ANY of it. So far, I paid 32 dollars for 13 worth of food, which was made wrong and been lied to. Tried to call and noone answers the phone, can't go inside because they closed the lobby and the line for drive thru is around the building because they're standing there socializing with the car at the window making plans for some bar after close. WHAT in the WORLD is going on there?...
Read moreThe first time here, Sunday Aug 4 12:30pm, we stood at the register for a good 10 minutes (and I'm m being conservative) before our order was taken. We were never even acknowledged until she took our order. We had to ask for our cups after our order was finally placed while we waited at least 20 minutes (again, being conservative) for a baked potato and a chili. Clearly, they are understaffed and prioritize the drive-through. Still, there are things that could be done to make their dining room customers feel more valued and speed up the process, such as a quick "I'll be with you shortly" at the register, handing us our cups upon ordering, putting the orders out that are pre-prepared (such as chili and potatoes), and include sourcream and butter with said potatoes, which they did not.
Fast forward 2 days. I come back while waiting for a loved ones' appointment to be over, thinking it's safe for simply a drink and a quiet place to read. This was wishful thinking on my part. The dining room the sign on the door says is open at 7am. It was still closed at 7:45.
They might be okay at the drive-through, but the dining room seems to be the sacrificial lamb at this location.
