The employees that were working went above and beyond to accommodate me . I had been to the bank next door, and as traffic was terrible at that time , I decided just to stay parked in the bank lot and walk into the Wendy's for our order. As I went around to locate the door , a very nice employee let me know that they were closed inside and asked if I had an oversized vehicle. I told him I didn't but it was just easier to stay where I was and walk ..... He agreed w me and told me just to go around the drive through side to the front door and he'd have someone come around to take my order. Clearly he didn't have to go that far but he did . When I got to the door the hostess with the mostess was so kind I'm taking my order writing it on an empty bag and walking back to the kitchen to turn it in. Then she walked all the way to the front of the store again with my total, I handed her the cash then she made the trip again to bring me my change. And I informed her that she could have brought the change with the order but she insisted it was no problem..... Smiling the whole time and just as sweet as could be. And approximately 3 minutes later there she was again with my order. I just want to thank you guys for going above and beyond and working yourself a lot more than was required ..... But just to let you guys know that it didn't go unappreciated. You two employees, especially the female that took my order at the door. My hat is off to you for being the kind of employee that all business owners should want. Give this girl a reward for earning one of the longest reviews I've ever written .    Read moreMy last visit wasn't very pleasant. I placed a mobile order 10 minutes ahead of pickup. I arrived 5 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready. It turned out my order hadn't even been started yet.
They were somewhat busy, so no big deal. However, two of my sandwiches had most of what was supposed to be included missing. So I brought those sandwiches back inside and told the staff. They input a remake, only to have the same incident happen again immediately...... with several customer witnesses standing by. When they asked what happened, I mentioned that all four sandwiches were missing toppings and condiments. The staff member I spoke to remade all four sandwiches themself. I took the other four home with me.
My mother ate the corrected remakes. Only to end up very sick the next day, due to the staff member not wearing gloves. The French Fries were also re-cooked.
I've decided I'm not going to this location until corporate gets involved and corrects this matter. This isn't the first time I've experienced this, and I highly doubt it will be the last. Because on my last visit, a staff member was very disrespectful when I was missing items from my order at the time. When I complained to corporate about the matter then. Nothing was done to fix the issue..... and it shows. It seems as though in recent years that many other customers have made similar complaints.
I miss how things were with this location. Back when I was a kid and teenager in the 1990s and 2000s, the food and service were excellent. I don't understand what has happened to this...
   Read moreWe happen to love Wendy's, my first job was at Wendy's but this restaurant was problematic before the pandemic and has only steadily worsened.
The credit card machine glitches constantly and has for months or more. They don't put a sign up before you get in line at the drive through and because this is literally the slowest chain in town you have lost 40 minutes and go home without food because you forgot cash.
Our orders are frequently wrong but the food has been tasty enough lately.
I can forgive staff shortages to some degree because many establishments have suffered. I get very frustrated at the extremely long waits in line (I looked at my GPS data for the past year and it was insane the time lost.)
It makes me question whether the franchise owner is trying to make this a good place to work?
Employees getting paid minimum wage having to deal with angry customers over incorrect orders, long waits and people driving away without food because technology fails is just disheartening.
