A Middle Eastern Culinary Delight – 5 Stars All the Way!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bab Al Salam and I am thrilled to share my enthusiastic 5-star review for this culinary gem.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in the enticing aromas of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the welcoming staff, immediately made me feel at home.

The menu at Bab Al Salam is a treasure trove of Middle Eastern flavors. From classic shawarma to falafel wraps and mouthwatering kebabs, they offer a delightful array of dishes that cater to every palate. The variety of vegetarian and meat options was impressive and ensured there was something for everyone in our group.

Now, let's talk about the food itself – it was nothing short of spectacular. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The shawarma was tender and bursting with spices, the falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully moist on the inside, and the kebabs were grilled to perfection.

The mezzes and sides were equally outstanding. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the tabbouleh was vibrant and zesty, and the baba ghanoush had a smoky depth of flavor that was simply addictive. Their pita bread was warm and freshly baked, making for the perfect accompaniment to these delectable dishes.

What truly impressed me was the attention to detail in the presentation. Each dish was plated with care, and the vibrant colors of the food made for an Instagram-worthy dining experience.

The service at Bab Al Salam was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to provide recommendations. They created a warm and friendly atmosphere that added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.

The restaurant's commitment to cleanliness and hygiene was also evident. The dining area was tidy, and all safety measures were in place, making us feel comfortable and secure during our visit.

In conclusion, Bab Al Salam is a shining star in the world of fast-casual dining. Their commitment to authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and exceptional service make it a must-visit for anyone craving Middle Eastern cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned lover of this cuisine or trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. This restaurant is a true culinary gem, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their mouthwatering dishes. Five stars...

After eating a dish from this restaurant I had to run immediately and write a review because I've just eaten the most delicious thing I've had in a long while. Overall, their wide selection of grilled meats is consistently tender and moist, the hummus is creamy beyond belief while also having a nice kick at the end with a flavor I can't quite place. That being said, the star of the show is the chicken shawarma Arabi. It comes hot and fresh with fries and chicken wrapped in a pita then cut into even small dipping rectangles, alongside ketchup and toum. The fries are perfectly plated and crispy and pair excellently with the ketchup, while the extremely flavor full chicken warms the pita just a bit and is paired perfectly with the garlic sauce which all comes together for one big orgasm inducing meld of flavor, it was genuinely one of the best things I've had in a long while and will definitely become a staple. It also goes great with a Vimto! The chef at this restaurant...

The food here is excellently prepared and very delicious. Portion sizes are pretty big. They don’t skimp out on the meat either. Definitely one of the best Jerusalem salads I’ve ever had I would recommend trying it for yourself. The services is very fast. If you dine in you’ll probably have your order taken and food/drink sitting on the table before you even get a chance to sit down and scoot your chair in. Very friendly staff and they are bilingual as well so that’s always a plus in my book. They work very hard and fast to keep the customers satisfied. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. You can eat off the floor in there. The smell inside is enough to make any one salivate in anticipation of the delicious ethnic delicacy’s they’re about to eat. They serve by far one of the best kabobs on this side of the planet. Great taste. My compliments...

We ordered the large baba ganoush, large hummus, and the mixed grill platter for takeout. Everything was reasonably priced and portions were quite generous. The baba ganoush was tasty with a great smokiness but the texture was a bit watery. The hummus was kind of strange. I couldn’t really taste the tahini or the chickpeas much. Instead, it somehow had both the texture and aftertaste that reminded me of boiled egg yolk, of which I wasn't a big fan. Both dips were topped with a spicy, tangy shatta that added a nice kick and brightness. All the meats on the mixed grill platter were juicy and had a nice smoky char but needed more salt. The grilled vegetables were well-cooked: good char and tender throughout. Every bite of the cucumber tomato salad had an addicting tang and fresh crunch.

How did I live so close and not know about this this place?! Maybe because it’s secretly hidden in the corner of the plaza. You have to look for it like the treasure they serve. The food is outstanding standing. Came in for dinner because we had a taste for Shawerma. Got both chicken and beef rolls. UPDATE: We catered food from here, we were impressed! The food here is beyond belief whether you order for one person or one hundred. The flavor was next level, I don’t know what to compare it to unless you leave the country. Got a large Hummus, large Baba Ganush and 6 pieces of falafel. Everything was beyond our expectations. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.
