Tucker's on Grand — Restaurant in Leyden Township

I arrived at 6:28pmish and it took over 15 minutes to get my order for my drink in, mind you there was only 5 people in the entire place (including me).

Finally ordered food/drink at the same time and had to wait (without being check in on or any accommodation) to get my food until 7:37pm. [Oh another table place food order roughly 10 minutes after us and they got their order first-we still had to wait 20 more minutes but we’re not white]. Simple burger and fries nothing fancy and when we got the burger the tomato still had the sticker from the store the other slice of tomato (with the other part of the sticker) was in my boyfriends burger (and a third piece of tomato with sticker would be a surprise for someone else). 8:09pm and still the waiter/bartender has yet to come to the table to check in on us-still had to pay the whole meal and lack of costumer service. We did tell her and showed her the sticker and she said “oh thank you I will let the cook know.”

I would like to say that it was a slow day but again there was only 5 people when I arrived. Oh, 5 people did arrived during this ordeal (all white) and their drink ordered was taken BEFORE THEN EVEN SAT DOWN and their order taken then food arrived within 17 minutes of their arrival.

This is just a combination of bad costumer service hell HORRIBLE costumer service and I can’t help it think that the color of my skin had something to do with it. Because two of the white guys (that had just arrived) received free drinks because she took too long to get their first drinks (which they still managed to get in a manner of 7 minutes).

-She only gets one star because she did come over with a smile and I heard her laughing (not with us). Not mad just wish these things...

This is the type of place you go to with your coworkers for a beer if you happen to work nearby, it's definitely for the regulars. They've got some video gambling games in the corner that seem to be popular with the patrons. Waitress/bartender/cook/server is very friendly and attentive - despite being the only one there. She told us all about a fire they had recently, so that may have had something to do with the emptiness of the place. We had to endure some pretty horrendous prime time tv as we ate our burgers - maybe it has a different feel to it when there's...

A quaint little neighborhood bar. Service was friendly, and a daily special, will allow for some savings, if so inclined.

Parking is available on the side of the building 🏫

Similar to a small "Cheers" - the location has many regulars in attendance.

Prices were reasonable, Sound levels, = nothing out of the expected.

Onsite gambling machines are also available.
