I am struggling to give this location 3 stars but 2.5 is not an option. This is sub standard review is not for the quality of my sandwich rather the condiments. The condiments themselves the quality was acceptable, tomatoes could have been better but rarely are the tomatoes of an acceptable quality more along the lines of “ I’ll deal with them as I have no other choice.” Where my unsatisfactory review stems from is the individual whom was “building my sandwich via condiments” she acted as if me asking for more than 8 tomatoes was an inconvenience. She then placed 2 more in the sandwich to wich I then asked for a few more which she then followed up with additional 3 tomatoes. From there here overall general attitude seemed as it was a burden to place 3 different vegetables on my footling with double meat. Each layer I prefaced with a good amount of this please to where a continual minimal amount was added each time asked for more. It took each vegetable 3 different applications to get near correct all while acting like my requests were over burdening her where normally people are like are you sure that’s all you want on there? I don’t care for a whole kit on my sandwich but when paying over $15 for a sandwich chips snd drink I believe a few vegetables and believe me to most standards it is just a few there should not be any issues with vegetables! Read moreI went in with an appetite and left with none!! No idea why I continue to go back to this location!! Worse Subway I've ever been to!! I go more often than I should and I never see the same faces!! That tells me that they care about their employees just as little as they care about their customers!! Can't keep employees or customers!! When I walk into a business, I expect someone to greet me. Not just stand there and stare!! I also don't want ALL the ingredients for my sandwich to go in a pile in the middle of my sandwich. I also didn't like the young boy glaring at me just because I politely ask him to put everything on evenly and not in a pile in the middle of the sandwich!! I assume the older lady is the manager. ONLY because she was the only adult there and NOT by the way she acted or carried herself. The older "lady" was the only one whom could use the cash register because the two young men haven't been trained. She hasn't trained either young men to cash out and SHE refused to help me until she was done with her PERSONAL conversation!! I'm not even sure if this location has a manager at all!! Whom ever the store manager is, they need to either be put through a LOT of training themselves or be replaced by someone that actually knows how to run this business and actually care enough to do so!! Read moreI ordered a sub with double meat, extra cheese and mayo. I paid an extra $3.50 for the extras I asked for. Of course I didn’t receive any of the extras but was still charged the $3.50. I filled out the survey to let them know about the incident and expected someone to reach out. 2 days later Ramona Steadman the “area manager” reached out with this email:
“I want to take a moment to thank you for contacting me and to extend my apologies for the less than ideal experience that you had in my restaurant. I understand that the preparation of your food during your visit did not meet your expectations. I know that we have let you down, and for that, my team at Subway® is sorry. My employees are trained to strict food prep guidelines and I have shared your valuable feedback with the restaurant team members to prevent this from happening in the future.”
So I responded that’s great but how can I be reimbursed for the extra money I spent. I included a pic of my receipt plus pics of the sandwich to show I wasn’t just trying to get something for free.
Romona ghosted me but it’s ok because she shared my feedback with the team. I’m sure they won’t ever mess up again and I guess Ramona feels she needs my $3.50...
