Fat Boy's Pizza & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Liberty Township

I called to place the delivery order (address given) at 750pm, there was so much noise in the background, but the gal taking the order did read it back and had it all correct. At 930pm, we still didn't have our order. I called to check on it and the gal that answered, said oh yeah, it's been done. I said, is someone going to deliver it? she said, well someone called and switched it to pick up. we'll, I know that wasn't true becasue the wonderful doctor that we are all working with, gave me the credit card and said order food for you guys for nurses week. so, I did just that and no one else knew about it. At 950pm, we FINALLY get our delivery...2 hours later. no one from fat boys called to check to see if it was forgotten, what the mix up was, or anything else. The delivery lady got snotty with the front desk employee and myself. saying someone from the hospital called and changed the order to pick up, I'm supposed to be off work right now, but I had to make this delivery and on and on, nothing but excuses...no sincerity at all. Obviously making our front desk girl uncomfortable and making me feel bad for what wasn't my mistake at all! Not one single part of this transaction from beginning to end was any type of professional! I know what it takes to run a successful food buiness, I did for 12.5 years and the above isn't it!....I always made things right with the customer. Now, 2 hours later we have cold chewy garlic knots, cold chewy cinnamon knots, soggy spuds, Luke warm pizza bowls and a horrible hard pizza! Definitely extremely unhappy! Happy nurses week to us!

EDIT AS OF 5/15/24 The owner called a coworker of mine and explained that he was out of town for his mother's funeral and was more than apologetic for what happened. He refunded the Dr's card and gave us a credit for the next order. I'm terribly sorry for your loss and even more sorry that you had to come back and deal with this unfortunate situation. Thanks for reaching out! Although I won't change the stars on the food or service from that night, I will upgrade...

Love the pizza, one of the best in Bellefontaine. We order here a lot and last night was my first issue. I had a coupon for a $13 medium one topping pizza (no quantity limit). Ordered three and asked to get an extra topping on two of them. The week before I did this with 2 large pizzas and they honored that coupon and just charged me for the extra topping. Some reason last night they wouldn't. They said the coupon was for a one topping. Which is fine, but if I pay additional for the extra topping, what is the issue? The guy said it causes confusion. Not sure how it's confusing if I am being charged additional for the extra topping which I was fine with. Anyway, other than that issue, it's a good place and one of our favorite places in town. Very disappointed in fat boys business. Have not ordered in 4-6 weeks. Ordered large pepperoni pizza. Pizza had more crust than toppings, as though they could not spread it out far enough. I pay for pizza edge to edge, not dough or crust. Ordered wings, only to find out they don't have 6 count, only 8 or 12. Is this to get more money? Ok, give me 8 count with medium sauce. Sorry we only have mild and hot..huh, what is going on here? Get my order, and only a mere $34 for punny, dinky small wings, and a large pizza that resembles a 14 inch with mostly crust. Guess this how you do business in bellefontaine. Oh, and if that's not enough, they ask for a tip when I do carry out, driving into town to pick the pizza up. WHAT THE...
