Kroger — Local services in Liberty Township

This review is for their order pick up service. I have used this service for years at Marysville, hardly ever was there an issue with the order or a substitution. However that changed with bellefontaine, here's the list.

15 substitutions on my order, some said out of stock, some were items that were nowhere near the same quantity or quality of the original item. I.E. We ordered a 12 pack of ramen and some kimchi bowls. They subbed the 12 pack with a single pack of ramen, and the kimchi bowls were random flavors with out any alert of them being substituted. (Now apply that scenario to all 15 items.) Several items were in stock, I physically went inside because they tried to substitute plain ground pork, for ground sweet Italian sausage. And I found several items on the shelves that had either been removed or substituted. Several items I removed from the order were still there (have not gone over the receipt yet to see if I was charged) While loading they were polite, however a lot of my.produce is either rotting and brown, or started turning brown, some items squished.

Overall. You're better just setting time aside and going in or...

Rushing thru to beat the crowd and nothing open but self checkout. I swear, if my wife wasn't along I'd have left the full shopping cart and went elsewhere to shop. Like everything else, if the equipment or facilities are inadequate, the task at hand is either surmuntable, or not. The self checkout at this Krogers is fine for small numbers of items, however, a full sized cart of groceries is not plausible with no belt to place items, prior to scanning, then no way for two people, scanning and bagging, like we were, without many malfunctions in the system. You must place items in the bag after scanning....someone trying to move groceries out of the cart to be scanned, off the tray after bagging, to leave! Converting full sized lanes is a better option......I still don't like it, but at least avoid pegging my blood pressure for issues with the...

Worst floweral department i have seen . I asked to order some bloons for my daughters birthday well the employe was more worried about talking to other coworkers then helping a paying customer. When I asked for bloons and she found out I wanted them pumped up she flatout told me no cause of the cold whether she said it was waste of time cause they would just pop. I asked again and she told me no . I went to a local shop down town and got the bloons walked threw the cold down main street and not a single one popped.
