✨While I ate at home, I cannot say enough good things about this hibachi. Not sure what other people are tasting but the Hibachi Steak, Chicken, & Shrimp was spectacular.
Upon delivery the food was still piping hot and delivered quickly. Delivery guy was SUPER nice and really well dressed with clean locks and coordinated fit!
GREATLY APPRECIATE the larger coarser cut of the cabbage as the finely cut cabbage does not hold up appropriately to the intention of the dish. The veggies were sublimely cooked with edible tenderness and a nutritious subtle crunch that indicates the nutrients were still intact. The color of each item was fresh and appetizing. All of the ingredients were fresh, unblemished, and of high quality.
So, let’s get into this protein. Who ever is back there needs a medal because all three meats were absolutely impressive. The steak and chicken tenderization methods are out of this world. The steak was cooked medium, but still managed to be so tender, it was like biting into a burger pattie. The flavor not overwhelming with expected south East Asian staple flavors; rather all of them were just present enough to compliment the flavor and texture of the meat. Simply outstanding. Reminiscing on the flavor of the leftovers I just ate 20 mins ago.
The chicken does the same. Actually zoomed in on a thicker piece to check if it was fully cooked. And it was! AND it had a nice deep golden brown pan sear! (COME TO THINK OF IT SO DID THE STEAK!) And, In the same fashion as steak, it was tender as can be. Loaded with the same subtle and delicious sauce flavor.
Than the shrimp. You know that snappy tender shrimp bursting with fresh-not-frozen flavor? Yep this is one of the spots that has the fresh pan seared juicy shrimp with the snappy golden skin that kinda peels up and turns golden and crispy in the pan sear…. It had that y’all…
The noodles were bomb! Cause they had that subtle sauce soaked into them loaded with the umami from the meats and seared veggies.
So delicious!
And these leftovers y’all… it’s as great as you think...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE WITHOUT AN EPIPEN READY! We have ate here a couple times and I agree with the poster about the chicken being off. It almost looks raw and is rubbery and is mystery meat. But that is nothing compared to our last experience. We ordered 3 of their veggie spring rolls along with several other dishes. THEY PUT SHRIMP ON A VEGGIE SPRING ROLL and someone with a life threatening allergy took a bite. I called them and they have the worst customer service. They argued with me about not telling them about an allergy. That is insane considering I ORDERED VEGETARIAN DISHES. The guy was awful, combative kept repeating that they have been here a long time, and my fault my fault. He said I should have ordered the egg roll! Crazy terrible customer service. I ordered a veggie spring roll vs a veggie egg roll because I wanted the healthier version, plus that has nothing to do with it. I just wanted a refund and they refused and yelled at me. I guess they haven't learned your best customer is the one you already have. Also, we ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was just really overly deep fried chicken and the sauce, no green pepper or anything else that normally accompanies it. The sauce hardened at room temperature!! The chicken is mystery meant...
Read moreFood isn't as good as their competitor Grand Pekin - which is in the smaller shopping strip next to them. Noodles provided to go with soup taste gross.
Recently, I had a sibling pick up an order at their competitor, but she forgot which one it was & when she couldn't get a hold of me, she went to mix Wok and showed them the image of the online order, I had sent her, earlier. Mix Wok didn't even notice that the order had products on it that they don't even have on their menu.... Or maybe they did & thought they could just try & match it with items on their menu anyway and steal a sale from their competitor, not realizing the rest of us can definitely tell the difference.
Other than that their...
