Chinese Wok — Restaurant in Liberty

Don’t get me wrong the food was good but the staff was absolutely rude and terrible. My mom had just gotten out the hospital so we wanted to stop by and go in for a quick lunch and right off the bat our waiter didn’t understand what we were trying to order so he went to the back and we could hear him literally talking trash about us to his coworker saying “people order anything now a days and they don’t know what they’re talking about” etc so his coworker had to come and ask us what we meant and she easily understood what we were talking about. Of course tho that wasn’t all when the food came out they added an extra meal we didn’t order but my mom just paid for it anyways because we didn’t wanna cause anymore trouble and when we were leaving we asked for to go boxes and the guy brought them out but my mom realized she didn’t get a cup for our orange sauce so when the lady came back again she asked for one and yet again we heard the guy in the back talking crap about us saying “ugh why didn’t they just ask for one when I was over there” etc and by this point we just wanted to leave we felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of the restaurant but still that’s not all of course when they brought the check it was wrong they had overcharged us 15$ so by this point my mom was over it and she made them fix it the girl did apologize but needless to say we will not be going in there...

The food here is ok. Portions are adequate. Our waitress was efficient. The trouble started when I was checking out. This was Friday 9/17 around 12:30. The cashier was young, thin with dark hair. I handed her the ticket looking her in the eye and asked that she split the check. She obviously doesn’t pay attention to her customer because she did not split the check. My companion reminded her it should be split and I said the same that I had requested it from her. She proceeded to respond saying I didn’t need to give her attitude. She was incredibly rude and continued repeating her nasty remarks and bad attitude towards me, her customer. It was absolutely unnecessary and I will not be going there again if the staff aren’t trained to treat customers...

Tonight was the first time I ate in the restaurant and I have to say I was not disappointed. The waitress was very friendly and met our every need. Now...the food. It was delicious! I'm super picky about Chinese food and this food was great. The dumplings were yummy, with or without the sauce. I could eat myself silly on them. The spring rolls...delicious! The cheese rolls were cooked perfectly. The egg rolls surprised me...they were crispy! Usually the only place you can get them that crispy is Jack in the Box. I had the house lo mien for my meal. It was steaming hot (I don't particularly care for lukewarm or cold noodles) and very flavorful. Generous portion sizes ensure a full stomach. I would definitely recommend...
