My friend and I decided to have lunch out on the patio area. This was my first time but my friend had ate here several times before our lunch. The menu is amazing! So many options it was hard to make a choice. We decided to order two meals and share them. We had the black and blue burger with onion rings and the chicken tacos. Wow! We had so much food that we were able to take a whole meal home for my friend's daughter. Everything was cooked correctly medium well for our burger and the food was very tasty. I did notice the other meals coming to the other tables and everything looked really good. We were so full we passed on dessert but the dessert menu had many options to choose from. The restaurant itself was very nice and had different areas to sit. There was a bar area with TVs, a dining room for indoor family sitting, outside sitting and they also have a large back room for events. The service for me was just okay nothing to note positive or negative but our waitress did seem busy and not as attentive as I would have liked. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to go back when I'm in the area.

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Austin's this past Friday and was deeply disappointed and embarrassed by the service received. The waiter spilled an entire glass of red wine on my outfit (see picture). I did not even realize what had happened since my back was towards the waiter and did not feel the liquid seep through my clothing right away. My entire party was like, "Wow, he spilled the whole glass of wine on you". Initially, I thought everyone was pulling a prank on me, then my brother came behind me and took a picture of my soiled clothing. When I realized what had happened, I went to my car to grab a jacket to put on and also explained to the managers, Derek and Pete, what had happened. They told me they would pay for the dry cleaning once I submitted the receipt to them and to enjoy my birthday. Fair enough...I joined the rest of the party; however, the waiter NEVER acknowledged me again. He NEVER asked if I was okay, never asked if I wanted another drink or refill of water, never asked if my food was okay...nothing at all. I would think he'd be a little attentive since he spilled wine on my back and try to make things right. When my bill came, my meal wasn't even comped or discounted (which was appalling). I wasn't even going to say anything about it, but everyone else in my party was shocked that MY meal was not discounted or free (especially when the managers knew it was my birthday). My brother spoked to the waiter about my meal being free and the waiter rolled his eyes and I could tell he was highly annoyed. Eventually, he removed the cost of my meal, but that should have been a given. All in all, the customer service sucked. I understand that the waiter was probably embarrassed himself, but so was I. He didn't even try to make things right. By the way, I got the stain out of my clothing with Shout.

The restaurant has a rustic vibe with wood paneling on the walls and has a large outdoor dining room great for warm weather. The menu is filled with a variety of options for appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pastas salads and desserts. The bucket of gold is an appetizer of fries dough nuggets with ranch and marinara dipping sauces. The thin crust brick oven pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection. The Badboy brisket sandwich was out of bounds. The combination of smoked brisket, bacon, Mac n cheese on Texas toast was heaven to my taste buds. I chose to have my fries covered in their specially made gravy. I'm sorry I didn't save room for one of their amazing sounding deserts. Our waiter was so on top of everything we needed. He rocked. I am so glad my family and I stopped at this amazing restaurant while we were in the area.

Thunder from down under tonight! That was great! What WASN'T so great was that we had 3 ticket options for this show. $20 standing room, $35 white tables by the stage and $35 upstairs open bar. We chose the open bar option but when we get to Austin's, there's only 1 section. And it's a definite that we were told "upstairs" because 1 of the girls in our group called and spoke with someone at Austin's before we purchased our tickets last week to find out if we were upstairs, if the strippers would even come up there and she was told yes. Sooo we all, and there were 9 of us, paid in advance $35 for open bar and the guy checking us in tells us that wasn't even an option. So basically, we should have just paid $20 because everyone was on the same level. The show was awesome but Austin's ripped us off.

This past April during the week of my b-day was the very 1st time ever dining in at this place and definitely won't be the last. They handled my reservation right away despite being packed and got a table outside on a beautiful sunny 70ish day. What can I say, delicious food at reasonable prices despite the surge in food prices across the country as well as the rest of the world I'm guessing. Our server was excellent, venue was kept squeaky clean/sanitized, menu boasts many fine selections, entrees as well as a killer cocktail/wine & beer list. Other than being a kickin' venue to eat & drink, the Fuel Room to the rear of the restaurant is a great addition to having live entertainment. Great all-around eatery whether out on a date or a family with young kids, Austin's is the place to be!

The restaurant has a nice layout, the patio is beautiful. Overwhelming menu as they serve a little bit if everything, steaks, burgers, tacos, fajitas, salads, wraps, sandwiches, wings, etc. Asked our waiter what he suggest and he said anything Mexican. So we went with the Austin's fajitas and shrimp tacos. Not sure how they are voted best in the area as they are good but not mind blowing delicious. After living in San Diego it's really hard to find really good Mexican food in other cities that even comes close. The drinks (Irish mule and watermelon sangria) were really good. The strawberry letter was a bit strong for me but I'm sure most would like it. Our waiter was very cool, prices were pretty standard. Would go back but next time we will go for a burger or something else.
