They're not up on yelp yet so I'll write my review here because they deserve one. This location previously housed Emama's Cafe, and after some renovation, Leyou is in it's place. I loved Emama's and was overjoyed to find that the location is still serving delicious Ethiopian food. The staff has been kind and helpful with every visit and the food remains quite good. The coffee is also worth a try! If you are in the area and want to try something besides the wonderful selection of Asian and Latin American offerings, I would absolutely suggest coming to Leyou Cafe and Mart.
There is usually plenty of parking as it is located in a strip mall, and they also have a small selection of Ethiopian spices and ingredients for sale besides food and coffee. I believe they are also a butcher shop and their meat is always fresh. They do have a counter space with tables so I suppose you could dine in but it would probably be more convenient for everyone to do take out.
For some reason I cannot add images but so far I have tried the Awaze Tibs, the Kitfo and the veggie platter. All are reasonably priced at around 15 dollars and the veggie platter is well worth the money. I cannot say if it is vegan as I am pretty sure it has butter but as a vegetarian option it is unmatched. Everything was delicious and I look forward to trying more, even though I no longer live...
Read moreI am disappointed for the second time with my take out order from Leyou Cafe and restorant. I ordered " Kurt " it was from a box of left over. We, couldn't eat it as Kurt and tried to make it "Tebse" , unfortunately it was to had to chew. This happened for the second time. It must be from left over. The person showed me mouthwatering display but decided to give me something bad. As a newly opened restorant, you don't treat potential customers like this. I was considering to use Leyou for catering service for upcoming wedding. Definitely Leyou is out...

The injera was soft and perfectly sour, pairing wonderfully with the stews. The service was also warm and welcoming, adding to the great atmosphere.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a true taste of Ethiopia—I’ll...
