Thai Foods Carry Out — Restaurant in Lima

This is truly a wonderful mom and pop restaurant. The very elderly Thai couple that own, run, and live upstairs on-site are just divine.

It's not the greatest haute spot but rather a multi-story home with the restaurant in the ground floor.

Bottom line - The food is excellent. It should be as they started selling their food 25 years ago.

You can be 100% sure that anything they prepare for you is the exact same as they prepare it for themselves.

The crispy noodle Rad Na is absolutely incredible.

Realize that this lovely couple are very old. They move like people way past 70 and that is ok. Your patience will make your taste buds richly rewarded.

Easy instructions to get to the back door. After being greeted and invited to sit at any table, she came over and turned the ceiling fan on above me, and the television. This was my first time at a Thai restaurant so I told her, i'd need a few moments to decide. Boy.. I didn't know what to order. My family absolutely loves Thai Foods Carry-Out. From their fresh spring rolls and fried egg rolls, to their traditional entrees like Pad Thai and green curry, to their lovely Thai iced or hot tea (very different from other tea)--their delicious cuisine and quaint, authentic ambience remind us of the Southeast Asian food paradise we were blessed to live in for many years.
