Winans Coffee & Chocolate — Restaurant in Lima

MY first time there i went through the drive through they are working on roads down in that area it was hard to fine where to pull in wasn't marked. Drive through only has coffee drinks listed and nothing else. There's a restaurant behind the drive through i followed a sign in front of me to exit i went all the way around u couldn't get out due to road construction and I had to go back up on the drive through drive to get out so many cars parked in lot cars trying to come in as ur going out. I stopped into this chocolate shop and instantly felt like I had wandered into a tiny treasure vault of sweet things. I tried a handful of different chocolates, each one priced daily and absolutely delicious. Every piece had that real, thoughtful flavor you only get when someone truly cares about what they’re making.

And the buckeyes? Hands-down the best in the state. Perfect texture, rich peanut butter flavor, and just the right amount of chocolate to wrap it all together. I would come back for that alone.

I’ve had the banana iced coffee 5 days straight once I discovered it. 3 out of 5 times they didn’t have banana foam top but substituted for a salted caramel which was good. The large $6.50 is the same size as medium $3.75 at DD so price is way high for what you can get down street. All though I tip every time I get put off a little by being asked if I’d like to leave a tip while paying and ahead of service. If Dunkin is closed I’d probable...
