Bert's Breakfast Korner — Restaurant in Lincoln Charter Township

I used to LOVE this place. I have been coming here for 5 years and the best part has always been the service - quick and friendly with a cup of coffee that never goes dry. The best parts of this place have now been completely removed. The ownership decided to stop serving coffee in mugs and stop providing any refills. Their new business model is that you have to buy a styrofoam cup of coffee and once you are done, there are NO refills -- if you want more, you have to buy a whole new cup at full price. I mean, come on!! this is a BREAKFAST diner!!

The saddest part is that they are putting all of the blame on their mom for the new changes. They are saying that they can't serve coffee anymore in a mug because she isn't able to carry around a carafe. What about the the servers and dad? Why can't they help?? Is this also why you removed the jelly, sugar, and napkins from the tables? and removed some tables entirely? This is so sad and I really hope that they see this is a huge mistake. Stop guilting customers by blaming your mom and making them feel bad for wanting the dining experience we have been getting for...

Growing up in Stevensville, Bert’s has been a go-to breakfast stop and a fixture of the community for as long as I can remember. My wife and I just moved back to the area from the West Coast and Bert’s is still going strong with some of the best take-out breakfast food you could ask for - all at an incredible value.

Over a couple decades of enjoying this spot (sometimes going 3x a week), I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, but some standouts are the Hungry Mountain (be prepared for the challenge, because it’s a hike), the Morning Bagel (the ultimate handheld breakfast option - I always request to add a few strips of bacon), the Belgian Waffles, and the Chocolate Chip muffin (tastes to me like breakfast birthday cake).

Jerry, Cindy, and Shelly are fantastic people - kind, attentive, passionate, and committed to their craft and community. So glad to be back in the area knowing Bert’s is here for me to now share with my kids. Call ahead for your takeout order and remember...

The food was custom order and prices adjusted accordingly. The food quality and taste was amazing. We ordered the hungry mountain and breakfast mix. We won't need lunch! The kids had Mickey mouse pancakes. The faces were completed with m&m"s and the colors were carefully selected for maximum joy.

The service is currently pick up and since we were out of town and going to eat picnic style, they gave us all the necessities. They even offered wipes. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I hope this place is around for years to come. We will plan a special trip here whenever we are...
