The restaurant was clean. The counter people were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They even shared a sample taste of the meat.
The Jalapeño cream cheese poppers were the best poppers ever.
The portion was small but the rice pudding was just excellent. I ate half of it before remembering to take a picture. The same for her very good baklava.
Easy to find on Cleveland Avenue just north of John Beers road. Second visit: I had the gyro plate. She had the same as last time. The Gyro plate was not as enjoyable to eat as the regular gyro. There was too much topping for the pita. It couldn't be riolled up. The pita was too tough to cut with the plastic knife. I had to build it, then slide it off the side of the plate a bite at a time to eat it. The regular Gyro was more enjoyable.
Desert was chocolate baklava with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I love baklava. This was not baklava. It was made like baklava. It was 😋 delicious, but not baklava.
The owner took our order and was very accommodating. He even decided our order of fried zucchini sticks was too small and brought another half order.
I like this place. We've been back often. Tonight was the Italian steak sandwich. It was excellent😁. Be warned, the giardiniera is 🔥. I like it 🔥 so I really liked it😅. They even give you enough jus for the whole sandwitch. Of course I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. It was that yummy 😋. Next visit, the music was AWFUL. Good gyro tho. Not speaking just of my own, but don't forget to "like" reviews and photos you like. This helps...
Read moreAfter being recommended this place by multiple coworkers I came out to Mr. Gyros in Stevensville for dinner with my husband. The guy in the red hat took our order and chatted with us as we decided what we wanted. I really vibed with him and enjoyed the overall attitude of the employees.
My husband got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The guy was even willing to mix 2 sodas (mountain dew and dr pepper) like he wanted. My husbands first comment was "this looks like a 'Good Burger' from the movie. He said the fries were nice and crispy. We hadn't even driven out of the parking lot yet and was already noisily eating his food. He finished his burger, got out of the car, went back inside and ordered another. I was so surprised. I couldnt believe he loved a burger from a gyro place.
I got the gyro sandwich, minus tomato add feta. I was trying to wait patiently for my food but my mouth was watering in anticipation. Since my husband ordered another burger I ate my sandwich inside. Oh man, I loved it. As most gyro places I recommend getting extra sauce although it was still amazing with the normal amount.
I will definitely be coming back and based off my husband we may be back weekly. Also, I know I heard at one time they didn't accept credit cards but that has changed. ...
Read moreI went in right before close sorta , And they still were very happy and energetic, Absolutely Fantastic customer service you don't get many other places , It seems a bit on the pricey side at first , $13 for a Cheeseburger and Fries ... But the food is just phenomenal, One of the best burgers you can get in the area (from someone who works at a different restaurant that sells burgers) , And the Fries are Thick and Crunchy and perfect as well ... The inside of the restaurant was perfectly clean after what I assume was a busy Friday night which is impressive that they're able to keep it that clean , Again, Many Restaurants don't do that on a Friday night so it's impressive. And the food is very fulfilling as well for the money. The Atmosphere is small and Quiet with windows all around which I loved as well , Nothing but positive things to say about this...
