Title: The Ultimate 10-Inch Cheesesteak Experience in Lincoln
From the first bite, this place proves you don’t need a trip to Philly to get a legit cheesesteak. I went in craving a perfect culmination of juicy, thin-sliced beef, melty cheese, and a crisp, toasty roll—and this spot delivered in spades. Welcomes with a friendly smile from the moment you walk in make the experience even better.
The 10-inch cheesesteak is the sweet spot: pack a flavor punch without sacrificing tenderness. The beef is incredibly tender, sliced just right, with a rich, beefy aroma that hits you as soon as you unwrap the foil. The cheese melts beautifully, weaving through every bite instead of clumping or overpowering the beef. The roll? Toasted to perfection—somewhere between sturdy enough to hold the fillings and soft enough to bite through with ease.
What elevates it: Flavor balance: beef, cheese, and onions (if you’re into them) hit a harmonious trio instead of competing flavors. Freshness: toppings taste fresh, veggies crisp, and the overall assemble feels Jakey-clean and thoughtfully prepared. Ratio: the 10-inch portion feels generous without being overwhelming—great for a hearty lunch or a satisfying dinner. Value: pricing is very competitive for Lincoln, and you’re getting prime tastiness without sacrificing quality.
Ambience and service: The vibe is welcoming and quick, ideal for a bite on a lunch break or a casual dinner. Staff are friendly, efficient, and happy to help customize if you want extra onions, peppers, or sauce on the side. Welcomes with a friendly smile from the staff really sets the tone.
Pro tips: Add the pepper sauce or house au jus if offered—it makes the beef extra juicy. If you’re torn between sizes, the 10-inch hits the perfect balance of portions and flavor payoff. Consider pairing with a side that complements the sandwich—fries or a lighter salad to round out the meal.
verdict: This is the best cheesesteak I’ve tasted in Lincoln, hands down. If you’re chasing an authentic, flavorful, satisfying bite, this is the stop you don’t...
Read moreNerdy guy with the beard and tall skinny guy who wears a hat and headphones while cooking suck at customer service. Not polite and rude when taking orders. I would also agree with the other guys comment they dont cook them right anymore! 3 weeks ago on a Friday at 630 we went into cheese steak grille and these two kooks were working. No ketchup, pepper or salt on the tables because they were "cleaning them"... rly all them on a Friday night 3 hours before close? the carbonation in the pop was messed up. when we pointed this all out he was annoyed. He gave me ketchup packets and did nothing to fix the pop machine than acted as if how dare we interrupt cleaning time on Friday evening!! At this time a line of unhappy inpatient customers were waiting to place orders several other people complained about the pop too before he fixed it. We would fill out a comment card but there is no safe place for them. You need a customer service email or post the best time to contact manager or owner!! Other than these two dummies YOU HAVE THE BIGGEST AND BEST CHEESESTEAK IN...

The cheesesteaks here are so good. I always get them with extra cheese and cream cheese. I get the fiesta sauce, which is just enchilada sauce. Who knew enchilada sauce would be good on cheesesteaks right? I get the standard 6 inch. The larger ends up being too much bread to meat ratio for me.
The fries are great. I am sure they are just bagged, frozen, generic fries, but they are seasoned really well and make all the difference.
I have eaten here waaaay too many times and should probably be dead because of it. I have not had the Philly fries sadly, but will try those next time.
Forgot to add that the prices are...
