My experience was in 12/2016.

I came with the intention of buying furniture that we could use in 2 weeks for our out-of-state family, whom were going to see our newly bought house. Our place was pretty empty since we had lived in an apartment. I figured all furniture places were the same and this was the only one I had a coupon for 12% off because of my employer, so naturally I thought this was the best deal. I also didn't want to spend more than $200 upfront, so I figured I'd pay the rest in a loan or credit card we'd apply after selecting the furniture.

Our sales representative was kind enough to spend bits and parts of like 4 hours with us (with a break of 30 minutes helping other customers) to pick out what we liked. After we added everything up at the register, she said it wouldn't arrive to us until 6 weeks!!! So basically after our visitors would leave. Since we had put sooo much work in finding what we liked, the measurements, the fabric, the color, we decided not to go through this again (we had our 4-year-old the whole time too and my husband was very tired) so we purchased it and just wanted to get it over with. At which point I asked our representative how much we'd have to put down, obviously it was concerning to me since it was almost $6,000. She said, "Oh, you don't have to put much anything down today, you could put $20-$100 if you want". I was very happy, pleased, that I wasn't putting down more and would only have monthly payments to deal with. Wrong!! After applying for the credit card and being approved, we're signing more paperwork, including a you-can't-change-your-mind order form for the custom furniture we picked out. Then she calls her boss and tells us that within 2 weeks we need to pay $500!!!!!!! The rest can be in the credit card to monthly pay $136. At which point I'm pissed. Apparently we can pay whatever amount she mentioned TODAY, but within 2 weeks $500. Absolutely ridiculous. They are scam artists, don't go there!

I wish I would've gone to Nebraska Furniture Mart where their selection is even bigger, plus they have a clearance section! Lincoln Mattress and Furniture that day had a mattress sale and like 3 items in clearance throughout the store. Shopko has some stuff and it's not that expensive.

Anyways, my husband and I had buyers remorse and literally the very next day we called them to cancel the custom couch sectionals and just keep the dining table set. They said that they had already submitted the order yesterday to their 3rd party and that because it's a custom order on the couches, they can't do returns. They said the 3rd party vendors will make the furniture regardless and since they aren't guaranteed that someone will buy it afterwards, they don't do refunds for these custom orders. The sales representative had even called her boss and this "boss" was the bleep and bleep that said that. So, here we are, stuck with a 3 year loan. Thank you sales representative, for conveniently omitting information. Thank you "boss", who hides themselves on the other side of the phone. You're all really good at what you do - overpricing items and sticking people into financially binding contracts.

I forgot to mention how the credit card company had automatically been raising our credit line for like 2 months, something we didn't need or want. So I had to call them to...

At this point we have not received the item we purchased so we’re giving 4 stars only for service at the store. Becki was perfect as she answered all my questions and followed up the next day. The following day we decided for sure it was the right item for us. She got all the paperwork ready for us and two other people took care of us for Becki. When we arrived EVERYTHING was ready! All we have left is to have it delivered. I’m counting on a great set up and delivery!

Two years later…

I went back to Lincoln mattress and furniture because I really loved my I comfort Serta bed and I needed a larger bed so I went back to see what they had available. Amy greeted me very shortly after I came into the store and I told her what I was looking for and she took me straight back to the bed. I had my paperwork from the previous purchase and she went over it with me and the available beds that closely resembled the bed I had purchased before…

I found the bed that felt almost exactly like my bed feels she got me set up with the purchase, I purchased it, she said it would be delivered in 3 to 5 weeks and that someone would be calling me a few days before they would bring the bed over and set it up. On my way home from Lincoln mattress and furniture Amy called me and said that the store had my mattress and adjustable frame in stock and that she could have it delivered as soon as I would like. So at this point we are set up for delivery for Friday this is Tuesday! I am very very pleased with the quality our furniture...

We had recently purchased a new house and had a need for several pieces to furnish the larger space. This was exciting for us but also very overwhelming. We wanted to not only make wise decisions financially but also purchase pieces of quality. We had visited three large furniture stores in town and the surrounding areas, and I was very discouraged to find nothing to my liking. We then decided to stop by Lincoln Mattress and Furniture. First off, the size of the building is very deceiving from the front. Driving by I was not prepared for the amount of styles and selections. Even more exciting was the fact that everywhere I turned I saw something I liked! We were greeted at the door by Traci and from there on we were her sole focus (but in a good way!) She asked questions and didn’t push anything on us. She showed us what we were looking for and educated us on the different manufactures, fabrics and options so we could make the right decision for us and feel confident that we were investing our money into something of value. She worked for our best interests when it came to bundling and saving and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I will continue to do business with them, but next time save myself the trouble and start...
