DaVinci's — Restaurant in Lincoln

DaVinci's has great food and is an added bonus for living in Lincoln, NE. I missed DaVinci's when I briefly lived in Kansas from 2015 - 2017. My first memory of enjoying DaVinci's food is when I had a graduation party at another location in 2006. That location is now a Chinese Restaurant. Before September 2015, when I lived in the South-East part of Lincoln, I used to have them deliver my orders to me. I'm not sure which location my food came from. My financial situation was better back then, and I could afford to pay the delivery fee and a tip.

Today, I decided to visit my favorite location for dinner, and one difference I noticed is they finally have the equipment necessary to take Apple Pay. Finally! I ordered a Hot Hoagie. It was the Turkey Bacon Hot Ranch without onions. I also ordered french fries for the side. It didn't take long to get my food. The food was great. I'm glad they are still serving great food. I'm also pleased to discover that they use Allo for their guest Wi-Fi. Great food plus great Internet service = a great time.

Went here because it was a PTO fundraising night and if it weren't for that we would have demanded a full refund for our meal.

To be clear, the restaurant was less than half full the entire hour we were there. We ordered meals for our family of 6. And only 1 out of 6 meals wasn't missing at least half of the components.

The meals came out a full 10 minutes apart from each other. My husband's philly cheesesteak did not come with the fries he ordered. And just one of our orders had the garlic bread that was supposed to come with them.

We mentioned this and were promised they would get right on it. 20 more minutes passed with no fries or garlic bread. We spoke kindly to them again and they said, "there's no order for fries." We showed our receipt and asked for our fries and garlic bread for a third time.

15 minutes later and our garlic bread arrived. NO FRIES.

We finally just left the restaurant since my husband had finished his sandwich literally 30-40 minutes ago at that point and still no fries.

We quietly just got up to go and a worker ran after us with a to-go container of very oily and COLD FRIES and a $15 gift certificate for a future visit. We tore it up. We'll...

I ordered two cheese steaks on separate occasion. The first sandwich was extremely bland, no seasoning or anything, it was so flavorless that I thought I got the virus, I later eat something else and I realize that the cheese steak was just bland. The next time I ordered a cheese steak, I also ordered a side of fries, thinking it was just that one day, but no. The sandwich was still bland, even with the works and the fries were pitiful. They were put in the same clamshell style box that the sandwich was in, making it seem like I got more than I thought.
