Down The Hatch Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lincoln

I’m not the one to leave a bad review. Normally I understand certain circumstances since I have previously worked in the food/serving business. My boyfriend and I come here once a week since his job is close for lunch. Every time we have came here the waitresses or waiters have forgot something, got something wrong, or just didn’t come back to check on us. This last experience was by far the worst. Didn’t get any of my order right. Ordered a side salad with Dorothy lynch and I got ranch. Not a big deal I ate it anyway I’m not picky. Then I ordered a Ruben and they gave me a patty melt. Again I’m not picky so I decided to try it and it was the greasiest burger I’ve ate in my life. The bread was soaked in grease. We will not be coming back unless it’s for drinks. Even then I’m not super impressed with their drinks. I order a vodka tonic with a lime and got a sliver of a lime. I’d rather not get a lime at all then get a centimeter of a lime. Also didn’t keep up with refills....

First off horrible service!!! Second I will be contacting you soon you have took money from my acct. And I can and will prove it , if you are still reading this after the theft. Then here is the other part myself and 3 other people went in to a more than half dead establishment ordered and did not get what was ordered . Decided to not say anything because slow ticket times did not want to go through another wait . The waitress never came back to our table one time to check on anyone or refresh drinks . Then I took a picture of receipt with total and no tip . I check my bank records and can see she must have thought she did a good job because she took more money than the total. So if you want to chance the same thing I went through you should go here and if not I would stay far far away from this...

If I could give this ZERO STARS I WOULD. Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Be prepared to wait a very long time (over 30 minutes for chips & dip/over an hour for food) & while they’re at it..they will mess up your orders & not advise you that they are not serving a specific item that you ALREADY WAITED OVER 30 MIN FOR!!!! Wait, it gets better… after waiting close to an hour you get told your food is THAWING & THEY DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER IT’ll BE… wait it doesn’t stop there ha… ha. (Wish I was joking) $2.99 discount after everything!?!?!? Needless to say, I went straight to the supervisor behind the bar & had to explain why we were very unhappy. We will never come back & I will be sure to spread the word whenever there is a tournament in town. Complete waste of our...
