George's Gourmet Grill Southpointe — Restaurant in Lincoln

Absolutely fabulous food and service. The nice gentleman at the register took our order of gyro, lamb kebab, falafel, baklava, and drinks and we sat at our table outside and within 7-10 minutes, we had our food brought to our table, all while the phone is ringing and more people are entering the restaurant. The food, was incredible! The lamb was juicy and the seasoning was matched to perfection. The salad that came with the lamb was as fresh as can be. The falafel, as this being my first attempt, was outstanding in flavor and potency. All in all, an amazingly perfect meal on a beautiful day.

But it wasn't until I thanked the maker of the meal did I realize that the man at the register, and the man in the kitchen, as well as I am assuming, the owner of the restaurant, were all one person. He makes amazing meals very quickly and at a low price. I am amazed that I have never heard of this place before. I will definitely be back .......

I've gotten food from here multiple times (on multiple visits to Lincoln), but it had been quite a long time since I last had it (since we don't live in the area, and like many, avoided long distance travel due to the pandemic). That said, I was NOT disappointed.

I ordered the spicy z-gyros plate (which included fries, and I added feta to it). Every. Single. Bite was WONDERFUL. The gyros was flavorful, juicy, and the ingredients were plentiful. The fries were nicely seasoned crinkle-cut fries. The food was ready fast too.

Excellent food, service, and a very clean place to eat. As a party of two, we ordered Falafel with a side of fries, Spanakopita with a side of salad and a lentil soup...all vegetarian and freshly made. Food was served in 5-7 minutes, it was absolutely delicious! We haven't had or come across Mediterranean food this good for years, and there was no suffering of repeat, or heartburn hassles afterwards. That was a bonus!
