Having moved to Lincoln in 2021, I was determined to find the perfect coffee spot! At first I ventured to The Mill at Haymarket, then College View and finally The Mill at Telegraph district. The Mill at Telegraph has become a home away from home. Friendly staff, excellent service, quality products and a happy atmosphere. Coffee is my go to! As of lately I’ve been exploring the idea of enjoying a good Scotch. Not just anywhere, though. One day I decided to visit the bar inside The Mill at Telegraph, and was welcomed by a super friendly bartender, Josh. Our conversation flowed. The Scotch was done to perfection. My favorite is Aberfeldy 12 with an expression of orange. He even educated me on a few terms and concepts. The Mill has my continued patronage...
Read moreI'm typically a very good tipper at coffee shops - I consistently tip $2-3 per $5-6 drink at my local coffee shop. However, the workers here are so unbelievably rude. I used to come here a lot, and I like to visit every once in a while because I feel nostalgic for how nice the experience used to be. But nowadays I regret it every single time. If employees don't feel they're paid enough, it's not my job to supplement that, especially if I'm getting treated like garbage for simply existing as a customer (when it seems like they'd prefer that all customers get their food/drinks and leave...

However, I decided I wanted something to eat and ordered a soup as well. After 45 minutes of waiting and asking about it a couple of times, I finally get it and am told they forgot about it multiple times. With that being said, it wasn't just like in the container forgot- they had heated it up and it sat and then was reheated and again sat, multiple times. I now have an upset stomach and I'm really hoping it is not because of that, but it seems like the only possible answer. I really hope the next person who orders food that needs warmed has a...
