Mel-O-Cream Donuts & Crafted Coffee — Restaurant in Lincoln

Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. Mel o cream has alway had the best donuts especially their cinnamon rolls how ever recently when I have gone the donuts have been under cooked and they have completely ruined the cinnamon rolls every thing that used to make the cinnamon rolls great has changed for the worse the icing is so sparse they might as well not be any on it then so little cinnamon compared to what there used to be in fact it looks and tastes like a donuts sad attempt at being a cinnamon roll. Seems Mel-O-Cream has been getting some unsavory reviews lately and I am wondering why? I had them for the very first time today and all I can say is, what is wrong with you bad reviewers with your obviously non pleasing personas? Opinions are one thing but do you even have tastebuds?
