I just love this grocery store! The meat is excellent and cut on site. The deli fried chicken is wonderful. If you are lucky enough to be there on a day when they have Joy's meatloaf, you'll never make your own again. They are improving and expanding the fresh produce section. Very helpful employees. The baggers will help you to your car and unload for you. You don't need to tip them, that's why the prices are slightly higher than a big box store. Grocery shopping is not a cherished time that I look forward to, but IGA staff and selections made the time as easy as possible. Always love my IGA. You can't get that kind of hometown feel or being treated like someone special, unless you're at IGA. Walmart might have some cheaper items, but overall it's just a better store.
