This place is worth a visit! I went for the first time today (5/03/2022) and had a lovely experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. I especially loved the seasonal corn fritters, which were served with a lime crema that complimented the fritters perfectly. The appetizer was amazing and set the bar high for the entrees, and they met the expectation! The portion sizes were very fair and the bread tasted fresh. The focaccia used in the French dip was perfect for the sandwich and didn’t lose its integrity when dipped in the jus. The bruschetta was a bit heavy on the onion, but for the amount given that’s completely forgivable. They give way more bread with their bruschetta than a lot of other local places so it makes the item totally worthwhile! The blueberry bread pudding was a decadent dessert, and I’m excited to try more of their options in the future! We went during happy hour, so I also got a Strawberry Mule which was sweet and not too sour. 10/10 food and drinks, I’m really happy that I tried eating here. The best part of the meal was definitely the seasonal option of the corn fritters. They were perfectly fried and still warm when served, it was a scrumptious appetizer that left me wanting to order more food! ☺️

12/1/24 Update: I have to drop the review to 3 stars after last night. I got a regular burger, wife got a BBQ burger and the kiddo got a chicken sandwich. Chicken sandwich was great as before per the kiddo. However, I ordered my burger medium and it was past well done and dry. I hate McDonalds, but had to go there last week and the patty I got there was juicier and better tasting. The wife said her burger was barely OK. The service was great as usual. Just a bummer experience. Burgers should be one of those things that should be on point. Previous Review: Service was good. Food was good. I like the decor. Our whole party was happy with everything. Edit: Moving to 5 stars. Went back again and another great experience. The food is really good. The service is really good. I had a fried chicken sandwich and fries. It was really well seasoned and crispy. My daughter had chicken fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. I helped with that and it was really good as well. I will say that the gravy could use a bit more flavor. My wife had a Poboy and really liked that.

A nice place for a date night or weekend dinner. Our brussel sprouts were crispy - loved the lemon poppy-seed dressing on top to balance out the richness of the dish. The chicken and gnocchi was great and the acidity of the sun dried tomatoes paired well with the cream sauce. Gnocchi were fluffy and the chicken was cooked well although a bit soggy from sitting on top of the sauce. Chicken sandwich was decent but nothing to write home about. I will say, the breading or technique they use is wonderful - it's perfectly crispy! This place has great fries. Very crispy and goes so well with their garlic aioli! I know it's the summer and sometimes can't be helped, but there were about 3-4 flies surrounding us during dinner, and it made it difficult to enjoy our night.

Food is good, service is not.

Brussel sprouts were quite tasty, and the French dip sandwich was very tasty, but man, the service (at least tonight) is just extremely off pace considering the prices. Arrived around 6pm and got seated quickly, ordered waters, and then when they were dropped off just a couple of minutes later, we ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Then about 15 minutes later the brussel sprouts came out and we ordered our entrees. Then it must have been at least 30 minutes before our entrees come out, and it was extremely clear that our food had been sitting under a heating lamp for at least the past 15 minutes. My fries were just barely still warm, and because the server had forgotten my garlic aioli, I ended up waiting at least another 5 minutes before I started eating them (because it took the server that long to go get a little side of aioli). At that point, the fries were absolutely room temperature and very mediocre. Like I said, the French dip was very flavorful (partially because I started eating it immediately, while it was still somewhat warm), but the top bun was extremely hard (likely due to sitting under a heating lamp for a quarter hour), but that really did not make up for the extremely slow service, and sadly mediocre other food.

Then, our check finally came and was left at the table, I picked it up, and then put my card on top of the receipt within a minute or two of the check being left at our table. We then ended up sitting there for an additional 15 minutes at least waiting for our server to come check us out, just one more thing that was disappointing.

I like the food here, I do, but honestly, my gf and I will likely never return because of how many balls were dropped during this experience. It's just not worth the risk when we might end up in another situation where we spend $60 & 90 minutes getting mediocre food, especially when half of that time spent was time sitting there twiddling our thumbs waiting for our...

We have dined here before. The food is always good but the service a little slow. Tonight it was horrendous. We arrived at 5:25 pm and it wasn't too busy at the time we were seated. It still took our waitress about 20 minutes to take our orders other than the drink orders when we arrived.

There was apparently only one cook in the kitchen but it took a long time for anyone to come out to the tables and let diners know of this situation and that they were calling more help in.

A few minutes after the three tables in our section were advised of the delay, after we all had been already waiting for 20 minutes for food after placing our orders, two guys came in and apparently placed a to-go order. I know this because of the timing in them getting their to-go orders. The table in our section with 2 adult diners ordered 3rd in our section but received their orders first. Then the 2 guys waiting on the to-go orders received theirs 2nd. After another 10 minute wait, we received our order for 2 adults and 3 kids even though we placed our orders 2nd. The table that placed their orders 1st, received their orders last. We received our orders 1 hour and 8 minutes after arriving.

Our waitress forgot to bring one kids drink. When she was delivering the kids desserts, we asked for one box. She never brought that. I saw her at the host stand talking to 2 other employees and looking at her phone so I went and asked for the box.

The other thing about them is they run credit cards at the table but they don't give a copy of the ticket so it can be reviewed before paying. They stand there looking over the payer's shoulder while the payer is selecting a tip amount and signing.

I am recommending the adult grilled cheese because I have had it before. I had the philly sandwich tonight and it...

UPDATE: I contacted management right after they commented on my review so they could 'make it right' as promised, but they never got back to me!

I used to love this place, but an extremely disappointing take-out experience has made it unlikely that I'll return.

I ordered take-out from the restaurant in celebration of a special occasion and arrived exactly when I was told my order would be ready. My guest and I immediately made the 1.5-mile drive home and examined our orders. The fries for both orders were lukewarm and soggy, but my barbecue chicken sandwich was cold to the touch~ completely inedible.

My guest called the restaurant to report the issues, and the employee he spoke to stated that he 'has no control over what happens to the food after it leaves the restaurant' as if I had tossed the sandwich in the snow. Clearly the order was ready sooner than expected and improperly heated, but several awkward moments of back-and-forth with the employee ensued. Finally he offered to refund $6 for the cold sandwich (disregarding the soggy fries, but whatever, I thought~ I didn't want to argue). As instructed, I checked my checking account 6 days later and saw that no refund had been processed.

My guest used to dine in here once a week but hasn't been back since this unfortunate incident. It was very disappointing to not only have our special occasion meal ruined but to addionally be blamed for it rather than having a manager take responsibility and make things right. Being promised even a small partial refund that never materialized was the icing on the cake. I have no plans to return (even to dine in) unless the situation...
