I think if I could give this review a title, it would be "Adventures in the Forbidden Zone". I went in for a late lunch about 4:45 pm on a Monday. I ordered a couple of Doritos Locos Supreme tacos, a "beefy" Five-Layer Burrito, and a Cheesy Gordita Crunch. The crew member who took my order was polite and got the order right. I got my food fairly promptly. Their fountain was out of Mountain Dew, which seems a little odd for a chain owned by Pepsico, but I was always going to drink Pepsi anyway. I sat down to begin eating. Before I started, I took two photos of the restaurant's interior from my booth (pictured here). The Dorritos Locos Tacos Supreme were tasty, as usual. The "beefy" Five-Layer Burrito started out beefy but ended up rather runny, which was really no surprise. I don't know why I keep ordering this item, it's always the same. Consistently getting the same results is why we go to chain restaurants, I guess. I should learn my lesson. Before I could try the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, I was approached at my table by a member of the crew. She informed me that it had been brought to their attention that I was taking videos, and it was making the crew members uncomfortable. Therefore, she had to ask me to leave. She said if I didn't leave, they'd call the police. This took me by surprise. I said yeah I'd taken a couple of pictures. I started gathering my stuff to leave, and asked if I had missed a sign posted saying no pictures or anything like that. She didn't answer my question, but reiterated that some of the crew members were uncomfortable, and said I "shouldn't be doing that", as though it were obvious and I had really crossed some line. Take a look at the photos - does anything seem inappropriate about them? There wasn't even a crew member in either of them. I'm truly mystified as to what set them off, unless there's some corporate policy about this (which I doubt). I dunno, I guess keep your phone in your pocket if you decide to eat at this Taco Bell location. Anyway, I left without further discussion, of course. I finished the Cheesy Gordita Crunch at home, and it was pretty tasty like usual. Taco Bell has some decent recipes, but the trick is to steer clear of the ones where they mostly have fluid or paste-like substances. That seems to be all of their burritos that I've tried. Their former Seven-Layer Burrito was different (and unique, and tasty), but they don't have that anymore, more's the pity.

Honestly the WORST Taco Bell I’ve ever been to as a doordasher and as a patron. Slow as hell and can never get the order right…exactly why we don’t ever order from this one cause we always have something missing and why we order from one that’s not close to us cause they don’t ever get anything correct or on time (for doordashing) AND it’s for some reason always cold even though we’ll pick up shortly after ordering. And honestly a Crunchwrap supreme shouldn’t bend the way it is in the picture, if it were fresh because this one has been sitting for quite a bit since it’s soggy and not to mention ice cold.

We will go down the middle with Taco Bell. The food is decent for a Taco Bell. I can’t really rate service since it is just ordering on the phone or with machines and then someone calling your name. It’s 50-50 on if the tables will be clean or not on the inside. I ordered breakfast online a couple weekends ago. When I drove over to get in the drive thru, I was told they didn’t have what was needed to make my order, but I could come back at some unspecified time later if I wanted… The more I write, the more I am starting to wonder why I am giving it 3 stars…

In my experience, I would say this Taco Bell location is probably the worst one I ever go to. I work near there, and restaurant prices near South Pointe are crazy rediculous, so I come here on my lunch break often. It is a lot of the time a gamble if I make it back to work within my 30 minute lunch break. The guys I work with usually will order for each other so that we don't have to each wait so long for our food.

On top of waiting so long the customer service is horrible. Why do they try and rush you when ordering when they can't keep your order straight, then take 15-20 minutes to get you your food?

Another thing, why are employees standing around chatting when there are dirty tables everywhere?! I shouldn't have to clean off a table with somebody elses trash on it, when there are ALWAYS employees standing around. Get to work guys, take pride in your job! I know it's just fast food, but I would HATE to have people talking crap about me, and my job if I could easily prevent it.

It's one thing to have these problems during peak hours (Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner hours), but to have these problems during off peak hours is crazy! According to google 3:00pm is one of the LEAST busy times to go there, so why am I waiting so long?

In my opinion this location should probably just get a whole new crew. The location on north 27th has an employee named Harold, and he is VERY friendly, and ALWAYS makes sure the customer is taken care of (within reason). Maybe they should take him and make him store manager of this location. I bet he would work to resolve as many issues as he could.

I know it sounds so petty to be complaining about this, but if you offer a service, you should probably make sure you're doing that service well. Do the employees of this location really like to be referred to as "The worst Taco Bell in town?" Come on guys, you can do better.

Don't take this as insulting, take it as constructive critisism, that's what reviews are for. If many people are having the same problem, then find the root cause of the problem and fix it. I'm not an employee there, so I can't say waht needs or doesn't need to be done. All I can say is there is room for...

Me and my mom went here today and let me say the service was terrible. She pulled up to the speaker and they asked for a name for her mobile order and she word for word said “Im sorry, I literally just sent it in so it probably isn’t in yet.” And gave her name. She said it in a respectful tone with no attitude whatsoever. We pull up to the window and the second we get up there the person at the window goes “ma’am are you having a bad day today or what?”. I’m sorry? My mom says back, still respectful, “no im not, I’m auctually having a pretty good day.” And he held her soda not giving it to her basically lecturing her about being respectful and not giving attitude and let me say, knowing my mom she was giving a pretty neutral tone until he said, “I’m gonna give you your food only because you paid for it.”. Like yes, sir. You are gonna give us the food I feel like that’s not something you should have to clear up. He kept giving attitude and my mom finally asked to talk to a manager and she explained the situation, got her food, and drove away. As one would do she called that Taco Bell to ask for the name of the person who was being rude to her and after a conversation the manager starting being rude as well and telling her they had a right to act that way because she had an attitude. I’m her 15 year old daughter. If anyone knows her attitude, it’s me. I can garuntee that the way she was talking, she was as being respectful and not having an attitude. From what I’ve heard, the staff at this Taco Bell overalls don’t have a very good attitude and it shows through their actions. Do with this information what you will but we will not be going back to this...
