Great location as its easily accessible when walking in the southpointe area. Upon entering the restaurant there was no one present to greet which is fine because they weren't that busy and I would expect that the hostess have other jobs during down time. My issue is that there were two staff members not to far from where I was standing just conversing away. They even looked over at me a few times but failed to provide service or even get the hostess to provide assistance. The hostess just so happen to look up and saw me. I Ordered the large thin Italian sausage pizza for 17 bucks and some change. The pizza was done in a jiffy. Hot and fresh but lacked flavor. There was nothing distinctive about it at all. Even the parmesan cheese did nothing for it. I gave it three stars because the hostess was really nice, the location, and the pizza was hot and fresh. I will order again, just not a pizza more than likely.
Edit: Visited again on 6/12/18 and service was a lot better as there was a different group of people there. i was greeted promptly and my order was taken right away. I ordered the artichoke dip which was done in a jiffy as well but just like the pizza I had before, it was hot and fresh. The vegetables are cold, fresh and crisp, the chips are crispy and delicious, and the garlic bread is to die for. The artichoke dip was spicy with a slight tang but delicious and addictive. I couldn't stop eating it as it was...
Read moreWent here Saturday evening with some friends. There was 6 of us, so we understood that the wait may take a little longer. We were ok with that. We deiced to wait outside since the weather was cool and comfortable. As we waited, we saw a table sitting dirty for over 20 minutes. My son had to use the restroom, so I took him in. There was a clean table towards the back that had 6 chairs. I had thought perhaps that was our table, so after my son was done, I figured we would be seated. We continued to wait another 5 minutes before my friend walked in and asked how much longer the wait was going to be. There was only 1 other couple ahead of us that was also waiting a long time. The hostess seemed frazzled and told us that the table was just cleaned and she was just about to page us. We were the lead back to a booth in the very back. I understand that tables are rotated for tips, but when you have kids with you, and your option is between a booth and a table, the table is much easier. The waiter was had was fantastic! He was fun, he laughed along with us, seemed like he had everything under control. The food came quickly once we were sat, and it was delicious. The waiter seriously saved the entire experience. There was a lady waiting the table behind us, and she accidently dropped a whole pizza, which further led to the thought that perhaps they were...
Read moreSadly Old Chicago at this location has been going down for quite some time. On this particular occasion my family went there for a late Sunday lunch. The service was so, so bad. We were not greeted when we came in the door. The young girls who worked there kept going on with their personal conversation without a smile or hello. Finally we were taken to our table. Our waitress came by to get our drink order. We did not see her again for about twenty minutes. When she did come back she only has my daughters drink and told the rest of us she has forgotten what the rest of us had ordered. Let me add to this — the place was not busy. All of the wait staff were just screwing g around and there was only one or two staff that even seemed to care that they were st their job. Finally our food was placed— it took forever to get to our table— the food was pretty good but nothing amazing- not like it used to be. Our waitress forgot to tell the kitchen to put cheese on my daughters noodles. She let us order something and then told us they were out of it. Total lack of hospitality. We might try the downtown location at some time on the future but i am done with this place. In my opinion they need to wipe out 90% of the staff and hire some people who want...
