I have great displeasure in writing this negative review as I don't typically complain about anything really, as I understand that things happen. I ordered 2 large pepperonis and extra garlic butter sauce, and I've been getting basically the same pizzas with the sauce from them for almost 5 years whenever I order from them and never had an issue until tonight. They say they place orders til 3 am and I don't usually even near that time, but tonight I ordered around 245, generous tip and all over the phone and stated I'd help the guy out even more for his troubles once he arrived. Acknowledging that it was near close I made sure they knew I appreciated it. Hour later nice gentleman pulls up as I sit out front on the porch and I write out another hunk of a tip to the man. As I grab the boxes and walk in I notice my hands start to feel greasy, like troublingly greasy. I get into the kitchen to find two of the 5 garlic butters utterly smashed and leaking in and out of each large box of pizza, in between them even. I examine the boxes and they're perfectly fine damage wise their is more than generous room for them to sit easily(as they have for years) numerous people agreed that it couldn't have been coincidence that it was a mishap on my first late night order. Someone there took the time to make sure that the extra sauce I paid for got destroyed, all while ruining the pizzas and making a ginormous mess to clean up in my kitchen. I spent about the price of another large and extra for this order and thanked them repeatedly, and the pizza slices now sit in ziplocs in my fridge sogging wet and borderline inedible. I purchased pizza the evening of 4/1. I have purchased lots of pizza’s over the last few years from Ramos but this will be the last time. Returning home from picking up carry out. I started eating my pizza and half way through the pizza. I picked up a slice and when taking a bite out of the crust it felt more chewy then normal. thinking nothing of it. I continued to take a bite then notice not all the cheese string from the slice could be chewed threw in my mouth. I then pulled the rest of the tuff part out of my mouth that was dangling still to the slice and noticed this was not a normal thing it was far to tough. I then swallowed my bite and investigated the left over slice. Come to find out when pulling the tuff part of cheese dangling on my slice that in fact it was not cheese at all but string. Called Ramos they told me they don’t use any string and would have to bring the pizza in. I went in and talked to the manager Britney who investigated and after showing her the string. Britney immediately said I know what this is it’s STRING from our Flour bags it was baked into the dough. She offered a new pizza. I declined and asked for a refund which was granted. It was a terrible experience and nothing was said to be done no inspection of the remaining dough or further explanation of how this can be prevented in the future.
