It was 10:00pm and I stopped in for a few drinks and long story. Sure, the bartender himself told me he was high on weed. And his friend was there drinking high on weed. His friend went behind the bar. Grabbed stuff for himself. The bartender laughed about it, then pretty much ran me out of the bar told me that I had to leave because they needed to close and they were normally not open on Sundays. This is after they told me that their friend had a bar downtown that they wanted to go see so pretty much. They ran me out of the bar so they could close. So they could go see. They're friends very, very unprofessional. I own my own business and businesses should not run like this period. This owner needs to find different employees clearly!!! And who tells customers that they're stoned off of pot. That's insanity!!! On a second note, the drinks were awful. I first ordered a captain in Coke, had probably a 1/2. A shot in my glass. Then I had a red beer and The bartender and his friend were both laughing. Asking me how much tomato juice I wanted. They were stoned out of their mind. As a business owner, I would have fired them on the spot. I am huge in the guest services. Or customer service. And I have very good customer service. And that is how I have the same clients for many, many years. However, this place is hands down. The most unprofessional place I have ever been to.. It's like a dive in the wall. Go any place else. But here I have been here one other time. And that bartender was pretty much the same way, but I felt bad for him because he said that he had no training. And this was his first bartending job and he was a college student So I gave him a little bit of slack thinking. Hey, everybody needs some experience but he was pretty unprofessional himself People may Thank, it's just a bartending job. But it's not just safe bartending job. It is dealing with customers/guest And serving them and those guests and customers pay your bill's Because that's how you get a paycheck. Is their business period...
Read moreI didn't want to leave a review but after being treated so awfully here I should speak my mind. I'm a legally blind sound engineer with a degree in audio and a decent amount of expereience under my belt. I worked here from August 23 to July of 24 receiving very little pay. The amount I was given became less and less and after even reasoning a 20 dollar payment and small percentage of sales the owner couldn't even keep that agreement. We're talking 5-9 hours+ of work typically 4-5 days a week getting 100-200 a month. I finally left, after continuously being told I'd be paid and not getting anything. I've done shows for free no problem but being lied to about a paid position and treated as if i were a paid woker doesnt work. I later brought a bill of $1,000 due a year from the day I brought it(1/6 of the cost truly owed if not less). She tore up the bill and accused me of breaking equipment after I was long gone and had already pointed out obvious issues in the system. And was physically removed...
Read moreRight off of South 13th Street, near Arapahoe, in a strip mall. There is a place that is hidden and only those privy to its location may enjoy its luxury.
Down a set of stairs, that reminded me of a film by the name Akira. I walk down the stairs to be met by a colorful and very unique individual. He asks if I'm here for the show. I surely am and I look forward to enjoying myself.
I step beyond the entrance into a room that seems as cozy as a friend's basement at 17. The music is already going. The show is going strong. In the back of the house are pool tables where celebration and competition meet like two oceans that were made for each other. Just before that is a seating area and a bar to the left. This is where the revelry comes together, and different walks of life meet on the same stage.
I can't go any further as I feel you must experience it for yourself. You must know this place and enjoy what stories it has to tell. This is one storm I would...
