Chipy Cafe — Restaurant in Lincolnshire

We just left this establishment and had to leave a review promptly. We arrived for our first time dining here and the door was propped open in 80 degree weather. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside so we chose inside. They took our orders and brought our coffee and food and then our service disappeared completely. We had to end up going to the counter to get the check at the end of the meal. It was insane because most if not all employees came to greet a gentleman next to us but never asked us how our food was. There were flies flying around everywhere - we spent more time battling them for our food than we did eating it. The food was bland. The coffee mugs were disgusting and appeared dirty. When we brought these concerns up to the manager they said they cannot control any of these things and there was a rush of customers but he removed the coffees from our bill. We will not be returning.

Edit- after seeing how this business replied to these concerns I think it’s clear they have acknowledged all the complaints were valid even if they felt our review was dramatic. Choose your restaurants...

I had lunch here with a few colleagues, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a professional yet comfortable meeting. The place is clean, modern, and has just the right noise level — you can actually talk without shouting.

The menu has plenty of options, from light salads to hearty entrees, and everything we ordered was excellent. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of roasted vegetables, and it was cooked perfectly. My coworkers ordered the pasta and the burger — both looked amazing and disappeared fast!

Service was efficient and polite. Our server made sure our drinks were always full but didn’t interrupt our conversation. The food came out quickly, which was great since we were on a tight schedule.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Everyone at the table agreed we’ll definitely be back — it’s hard to find a place that balances great food, great service, and a business-friendly atmosphere so well.

It's hard to make a name for yourself in a sea of breakfast places, but Chipy Cafe has done just that! This place is great! It's tucked away in a failing strip mall in Lincolnshire, but that adds s bit to the place as it's quiet when you sit outside. Which is better than the hustle and bustle of other places with outdoor seating. Inside has tables on either side of the room and the owners, a family, led by Michael, welcome each person as they enter the establishment. Often, Michael himself, his wife or son will be waiting on you, friendly as can be, to offer up suggestions for breakfast, lunch, or brunch.

And it really doesn't matter shat you order, it's all delicious and fresh.

And it's refreshing not to be rushed out of a restaurant these days. They're happy to have you, remember you by name, and will accommodate you if you have a large party or event.
