I don't recommend this Burger joint. Go to Cook Out, Wendy's, or McDonald's. All close by (within 4 miles or less from Burger King.
Problem with unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Don't have a good work ethic. Have a "don't care attitude."
No matter your job, how much you are paid, you should strive to do it well. You took the job and accepted the terms of code of conduct in accepting that Burger King is a service industry whose main focus is interacting with the public.
I worked in the fast food industry as a single mother. The qualities I UNDERSTOOD and FOLLOWED are still expected today.
Prior to retiring, I was a VP of finance for a large international organization. It was a service type of organization, where the pay wasn't up to industry standards. However, I expected the following "work ethic." Of which I followed as well.
1-Work your shift and show up on time. 2-Strive for excellence 3-Smile 4-Be helpful 5-Accept responsibility and either receive (re)training or correct the problem. 6-If an issue arises, handle it appropriately 7-Quality control is a must, even when busy. 8-Cuustomer is right outside of extinguishing circumstances.
The following are my experiences, and I imagine I'm not the only one affected by the lack of a properworkingg environment.
1-Everytime I ordered, especially when I had it delivered, it was either incorrect or missing items. 2-When I tried to make the manager (Jeremy) aware, he got defensive. Stating mistakes happen, and why do I continue to order if I can't accept it being wrong every time? 3-I experienced seeing an employee get into a physical altercation with a customer.
The problem begins at the top. My hope i that the individual who owns this franchise would be appalled at the work environment atmosphere that bleeds over into how customers are treated.
My recommendation would be to provide an environment of a seamless running...
Read moreTLDR: EVERY worker we interacted with was very rude, disrespectful and abrupt. Terrible experience. Just go somewhere else. They donât deserve peoples money here and just read the rest of the one star reviews. Theyâre not exaggerating.
One of the worst experiences of a fast food drive through. Super rude and disrespectful. From the first interaction the lady taking our order was impatient and snappy. Got to the window and she was visibly and verbally rude. Got our orders and the fries were old and coated in salt, so we asked for new fries to replace them (we also gave the old ones back). They also forgot our condiments and were rudely told âour lobby is closedâ when we came to the door. We were then told that the fries were perfect and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. They were absolutely old and stale. The worker walked back inside yelling sarcastically that âThey need 2 fries now!â After saying, âWeâve been scammed by people trying to get more fried lately, and those fries were just pulled out of the fryer and if theyâre salty thatâs just the way we make themâ
Then the manager came out and asked âWhatâs wrong yall?â Again, abrupt and rude. We explained that the fried we got were old and stale. She then said, âThereâs nothing wrong with those friesâŠâ Long story short, every employee was rude and abrupt. Finally gave us fresh fries, but they gave my wife a small when we ordered a medium.
I worked fast food and know what itâs like, but this...
Read moreWow. So when I went they had a sprinkler going at the left side of the drive thru that sprayed straight into my car window as I tried to pull up to the speaker, and the right side lane/speaker was blocked by a bunch of empty crates. When I came inside and let them know about it, all the cashier had to say was that it's on a timer, with a very flippant attitude. I've worked in food service long enough to know that you at least listen and apologize when a customer has a complaint, even if you think you can't do anything about it. I was not rude, just bringing an issue to their attention. She maybe even could've said she'd mention it to a higher up as there may be a resolution you as an hourly employee aren't aware of if you just let them know there's a problem (like timing it for closed hoirs maybe?) I'll call about it myself, that's fine, but the couldn't-care-less attitude definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Train your employees to better handle these situations, and stop spraying away your customers. Y'all did not need yet another 1...
