They donāt have basil . They donāt have xl pizzas . They Didnt come out to our vehicle to take our money, while all the cars are getting their food . We called in ahead of time to order .... They are taking everyoneās payments and bringing them food . They walked all around our car .didnāt even look our way . You can keep your Costco pizza .
-No thank you . Dump them in the trash !!!!We called in ahead of time to order and end up going to two other places and then made it all the way home before you guys even called . If your employees are suppose to come out when food is ready to take the money, then state that on the phone . But that wasnt the case . WE WATCHED PEOPLE GET GREETED , they took payments , and then brought food ! Seriously left us sitting out there . Last time we were there they took our money first and we waited a long time for our food . So whoever I talked to on the phone , told me āthat is what they do,ā is lying . that wasnāt the case last time and Iām pretty sure that wasnāt the case this time . The girls went to the lady next to us , took her payment and she sat there and waited a little while , Then they brought the pizza out to her and she left . Parking lot was empty and we were still waiting. There really was no reason to ignore us ā¦..especially since that is your protocol because you continued that even after Covid . Parking lot pick up ! We waited long enough and then finally just left . We understand if the food needed time , but leaving us in the parking lot not knowing what the heck is going on and not being greeted is honestly unprofessional and poor customer service . Iāve never been to a pizza place that requires all their customers to wait in a parking lot for food . My family has owned pizza shops , Italian restaurants , businesses and this is just not ok . And instead of trying to be petty , acknowledge the mistake and be courteous to your customers. I wasnāt trying to get a free meal , and we absolutely donāt mind waiting . I learned this as a teenager , greeting customers is so important and being courteous...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally don't like pizza, however my four year old grandson LOVES cheese pizza, so I took a gamble by looking for a local pizza restaurant. Then, I came upon the "House of Pizza Pizza Restaurant." them up on the internet and saw how many reviews listed this was a great place to go.This was my first time out with my grandson, who was four. His comment on his sic (medium) cheese pizza was, "Grandma, I love my pizza! Best pizza I have ever ate!." My comment would be, "Ditto," I had the medium Popeye pizza and it was superb. They know how to balance the thickness of the crust the sauce, cheeses and toppings. The prices are the same as the commercial brands, if not better. All the staff were outstanding, and even patient with me. This was my first time driving to a restaurant in over twenty years by myself. I We moved into a new state, after I was released from the ICU, in GA, for 3 months, and after a year I'm still recovering from a debilitating coma. It affected my ability to walk, talk, write etc., and I just had one of four major surgeries (6 hour neck this time), I didn't say anything to them. So when I said they were extremely kind and patient, they were really that way, and it had a huge impact on me and my grandson. I'll be coming back with my other eight grandkids & their parents as well as my spouse of course!
He ate the left overs, which was compromised of half cheese and my half Popeye pizza. He normally doesn't like pizza, but he ate the whole thing in one sitting. I guess he really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI give 2.5āļø for the pizza. For a place called House Of Pizza, youād expect their pizza to be their area of expertise. Sadly, however, despite the pizza looking nearly perfect, it barely has flavor. I was very impressed by the look of the pizza, but even more so by the fact that the crust taste like nothing. Literally nothingā¦and I donāt even know how thatās possible. A slice of white bread has more flavor than this crust. The pizza itself was ok. It was nothing special, but was edible. Iām not sure why an Italian restaurant wouldnāt make their pizza with more Italian flavorings. You couldnāt have brushed the crust with some Italian garlic butter before baking? Or used a more hearty marinara sauce? Maybe use an Italian cheese blend? Italians are known for their bold flavors and this didnāt taste very Italian. For $30 (for 1 med & 1 large), you may as well take a drive out of town to Mellow Mushroom where at least the pizza has some flavor. While the pizza itself may be a solid 2.5 stars out of 5, I give the restaurant a 4 āļø simply for how the pizza looked. That may sound silly, but Iāve had probably hundreds of pizzas in my lifetime and have never seen one that looked like it came straight out of a commercial. I gasped when I opened the box. My photos donāt do it justice as some of the slices shifted on the drive home, but man⦠that was a pretty...
