I recently had the honor to meet the owner Ronda. I was thrilled to try Captain Pete's as I have not been there in quite a few years, and had never been to the Lincolnton location. Went there with our two youngest and they are asking about the grilled cheese and fries every day now. After having lived at the beach, I can truly say this is some of the best seafood inland that you'll find anywhere. If you like baby Calabash shrimp, this is the place to go. Hush puppies are fresh, everything was made to order and it was delicious. Reheats great in an air fryer or toaster oven... Just saying, you will definitely have leftovers! Thank you again for a lovely meal. We have been there twice in the last week and plan on making it a regular place. The hostess and wait staff were all phenomenal. We had Ruth the first time and our son actually gave her a hug and called her by name the next time. Super friendly, even brought out a small plate of fries as our daughter was starving and waiting for her kids meal. And then fries came with her meal....
Read moreWhen I ordered my fried flounder, they brought the whole fish to me on a plate. The scales, skin, fins, head, tail, bones, the whole damn thing. I almost gagged. They took it back and brought me a piece of friend fillied flounder. This time it had no bones or scales but the skin was below the breading and I still couldn't eat it. All I want was a piece of fish, breaded, friend, no skin, no bones, etc... I had them take it back too. They then brought me a piece of Alaskan white fish. Just meat and breaded deep fried. No skin. By this time, I had no appetite. They told me to take it home and try it. They removed my entire bill and apologized. I was in shock. The chef and manager came out and talked to me. These people were so nice and kind. I can't thank these people enough for being so understanding and generous.
This restaurant deserves a great review because of their customer service, patience,...
Read moreCame in with 9 people at the table. 3 different parties at the same table. Waitress took drink order for all 9, came back with 2/3 of the drinks. Then the food came out and my small group of 4 had our food but no drink. I was about 1/2 way in to my meal, then the drinks finally showed. When it came to the bill. The Waitress had all 3 party's meals on the same ticket and the drinks on another ticket. At the cashier had to point out what each group had so we could pay. If Waitress had done three different ticket, one for each party. It would have been less aggravation to figure what meal was on what ticket so it could be paid for. The Waitress could and should have done a much better job then what she did. I will have to think about going back. It...
