Everytime I pass through Lincolnton home from hiking South Mountains, this will be my spot! If you like Brixx, then this is for you. Perfectly executed thin crust personal build your own pizza. My Margherita had thick juicy slices of tomato from a farm down the road, and the basil was fresh, fragrant & fuzzy. That is what they make. Salads? NO. Sandwiches? NEIN! Hummus? NYET! Just awesome crisp bubbled crust pizza, and fantastic beer selections. Order at the counter, take a seat on their fan/heated patio and they bring your selection on a paper plate! And your napkins are a roll of paper towels! I love these touches. The staff are all 20-somethings and sooo pleasant. If you have picky kids, it will work since they can build their own. I expect there will be lines out the door soon waiting for their chance to order! (...and they have pastry turnovers too for dessert, and something close to a spanikopita)

This is in my opinion what Lincolnton needs more of! Started with a bike ride with the kiddos and it was approaching lunch time. So we stopped at a place that didn’t have anything on the menu that me or my kids was excited about. Plus! They stated they didn’t seat people outside at the outside tables because of flys! Long story short I said hey let’s ride to the new pizza place! We arrived not knowing what to expect. The cashier said we could park our bikes in the bike by the outdoor patio. The smiles that my kids had on their face from this experience is priceless. Ok now on to the food.. the wood fired pizza is amazing. It’s hard to compare fresh wood fired pizza. It was a good balance of the ingredients that you choose as well as it being cooked right! Me and my kiddos was very pleased and will be back for sure!

Cute little pizza spot located in the heart of downtown Town Square Lincolnton. Locally owned and operated; this place boasts some splendid flavors and a quaint atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is they messed up my order but ended up giving me the pizza even though I didn't end up eating the shiitake mushrooms with white sauce & crushed red pepper flakes bc it was terrible. But the pepperoni pizza we ordered was absolutely delicious. I wish they had a much needed sense of urgency when making the pizzas but it's the South and maybe it's me who needs to relax and just enjoy the moment. No idea. Anyway, I think this place is great and the wood fired crispy crust on the personal pizza was mouthwatering and delightful. Go here and support local bc you won't regret it.

Pizza is super great! We were so excited when we heard about this place, tried there pizza and had heard from a couple people they had a mobile unit as well they used to cater weddings and other events. We decided to have them cater our wedding. We were so excited, then our wedding cake around and it was terrible. Pizza was still undeniably good, however owners wife repeatedly told my guest the menu I made was not agreed upon and was never approved, mind you I have texts proving it was okayed from her husband, my guests didn’t get released from their tables correctly so I definitely know it got a little crowded at the pizza area, however on top of the repeated unapproved menu comment I heard multiple guests tell me they told people to just look for a pizza that resembled what they want it and take it, or to my coworker “you and the girl over there can just fight for this one when it comes out.” I was so disappointed hearing all this in the days after my wedding, because I was truly so pumped about the pizza and the people catering it. Instead I got told that I had agreed to toppings I wouldn’t have agreed to, and that we had only talked about 4 certain pizzas and that’s all they planned on making (which the 4 signature pizzas were true, however I had made a section just like they have at the restaurant to build you own and it was approved) and they didn’t even have all the correct toppings for the 4 signature pizzas that were agreed upon. I called Brian when we got back from our honeymoon and his idea of mending the situation was $100 refund on the $1600 we paid for 200 pizzas. I didn’t even care about the refund my biggest dissatisfaction was the attitude that was shown to my guest and the beating of the already dead and incorrect horse of my menu not being approved prior to my wedding. We love their pizza but we won’t return...

Update: finally had a chance to try the pizza there tonight and it was exceptional and the service was well above average. I look forward to trying different crust options as well as other toppings.

Disclaimer: this review is in reference to the business practices and not the food as I have never tried the food.

People have recommended Goodwood to me a few times and I was eager to try the pizza. I arrived today, Friday March 8th just before 1 pm with my family as well as my parents. They seemed busy but not overly busy. Once we got in line to order our food we heard the lady tell the couple in front of us it would be at least an hour before their pizza would be cooked, that couple proceeded to leave without eating. We were next in line and the woman behind the counter went on to tell us “you should come another time, it will be over an hour”. She proceeded to tell us something about how slammed they were with phone and internet orders. I don’t own a business so maybe I don’t get it but I would assume you would prioritize the patrons that are standing inside your establishment as opposed to the ones who placed orders online, at least I would if it was my business. I watched at least 15 people leave without any food as well as one group get a refund because they had to be back at work and had apparently already waited close to 45 minutes.

The food may be great, and I’m assuming it is if they were as busy as they said. That being said, it left a very bad impression on myself and I would imagine it did with the other patrons that were turned away. I’m not certain I would give them my business...

An update for new ownership: with exception of the crust being slightly different, our food tasted mostly the same,

Where I'm NOT a fan of change, I do think that with every change comes good and not so good things to business. I will say that meeting the new owners today and the new general manager left me feeling a bit different vibes than im used to. I am glad that I was able to meet them and be acquainted though but I really didn't feel the same in the restaurant. (Its always awkward at first! Especially with a takeover from a place with such an ammased following) i fully understand that different people have different personalities and i hope that the family-esque vibes return once the dust of new ownership settles. That being said, I have high hopes for the new owners as they have very large shoes to fill.

Some seriously top notch customer service, delicious pizza (so good we came back for more the same day!)

I literally tripped over gravity to try their pizza 🤣

We had the Hawaiian, the roasted onion and we made our own creation too. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned. I really enjoyed the garlic sauce on the onion pizza! The apple turnover tasted like it was homemade, it wasn't too sweet and perfectly flaky. 10/10 would recommend!

Exploring some new to us places in Lincolnton led us to GoodWood, I've rarely ever felt more like family on a very first visit somewhere. We will definitely be...
