Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Lincolnton

First time visiting. Ordered ahead and drove up via the drive thru. They said you have to come in. Really? I walked in only to find my order sitting an arm length from the drive thru window. Oh right, no other customers were in the dining room. Minus two stars. Now the order: the dragon fruit bowl was good. The island drink was minus two stars. I could only taste the kale. The description had other ingredients. Would not recommend. I plan on trying other items as I was excited when they came to town. I downloaded the app and reviewed the menu a few times. The next visit will determine whether they deserve my time and money. If they at least make it to a four star rating , then maybe… I “might”...

The smoothie I got was really good — I think it was the Bahama or something like that. But I did see one of the employees take off their hat, run their fingers through their hair, and then go right back to working. That’s pretty unsanitary and honestly made me lose my appetite I for sure will not be going...
