Linden Kitchen Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Linden

The service at the restaurant has changed since I started going to Linden Kitchen 3 years ago. I used to be able to order variations of what was on the menu. I could ask for brown rice instead of white rice. Or ask for some tofu to be added to the broccoli and garlic sauce. The cooks and the person (usually a woman) at the register understood and were polite. This past Saturday I asked for brown rice instead of white rice. The woman at the register pointed to where brown rice was on the menu. However, she did not understand that I wanted to substitute it for the white rice. She could not understand anything I said. Instead she just pointed to the items. Which would be ok if you just wanted to order by the numbers and not have a little variation. I walked out. If the restaurant has changed policy, regarding the ability to make a substitution or request a variation, that should be stated on the menu. It should be communicated by someone who can speak English fluently. Mostly take out n delivery, they have some tables there to eat. The food is great tasting very nice portions and well seasoned. I ordered more than just the boneless spareribs with pork fried rice, but this was the only thing I could take a picture of before it was gone. This is what we have ordered so far from here

Pork lo mein lightly seasoned tastes good, for my taste needed a bit more salt, for the rest of the family it was well seasoned. Shrimp with mixed vegetables and white rice, very tasty Fried wonton meat, very crispy, and the sauce was sweet but not too sweet. Recommend to eat the wontons when they are hot because if you let them get cold, they will be too hard to chew on. Chicken wings and pork fried rice, cooked nicely tender and chicken still juicy. Seafood delight with white rice again nice portion and cooked well.

I would recommend these items since my family and I have tried only these so far. All in all, good food prices are fair. This is my go-to chinese spot since moving to Linden, I have tried a few others, but this place is by far better than the others...

I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied that this came out of the sweat and sour sauce attached to the chicken I have spent my hard earned money and I am in disbelief that this what ever this is it looks like hair to me ...I've ordered a couple of times and this being my 2nd time I had it delivered to me ...I'm not sure how you run things there but this is just gross and unacceptable, keep hair nets on your heads and gloves on your hands 👐 I'm so furious Just found a long hair in my food I want my money back ...lord have mercy I'm so...
