We came in twice, on the their grand opening and the second time was the following Sunday.
The line was crazy on both days I visited, an hour and 15 minutes wait. I decided to wait, on the grand opening, understandably the staff were overwhelmed trying their best, they were friendly and the food was good.
The second time, they had a big group reservation and the dinner was full. The cashier informed us that there is an hour and so wait, so we did not mind the wait because the food was worth it. Some customer obviously were less patient than others,
We were the one before the last order, the food was excellent, it made it worth the wait.
The first time they forgot to give me the sauce, which they made it up for me next time.
In my opinion, this restaurant is an upscale one unlike the local mediterranean restaurants in the area. I can bring my family or my friends and still enjoy the dining experience and quality of food paying a decent and affordable price The staff were attentive and very polite The service was excellent. The food is top-notch by far.
I think we should be more supportive as a community And guide them when there is something that we did not like, this will improve their productivity because we need them in our area, Some of us used to call this area the restaurant desert, because all we have is bread, meat and potato seven days a week and nothing else.
We had to drive 40 minutes to get to a decent restaurant, but this is very difficult during the winter but now we have a good restaurant right around the corner and all they need is our support and patience.
As one of the senior residence of this community, and I speak for my family and friends, we will give them our support as long as they are willing to improve and keep the communication open.
Bad reviews should only be posted if and when a problem is unfixable, as a we should tolerate one another and Give each other a chance.
They have not been here for a month yet and over 99 present of the people here are happy with Damashkey
Let’s wait a bit longer and see if they keep up with the service and quality. Then...

The food was delicious and this is now my go-to restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine! They obviously listen to their customers and made meaningful changes to improve on the food. Highly recommend!
Original Review: Food was average at best, left much to be desired. Portion was quite small for what you pay, the beef shawarma was dry and so was the basmati rice. They only gave a small triangle of pita which was not enough to go with the beef shawarma plate in order. The beef tasted like lamb…it either had a heavy spice seasoning, like allspice, cardamom, star anise, or cinnamon…or it was really lamb being served as beef. I really couldn’t tell. But it was very pronounced and not typical of what I’m used to eating. The side of fries was very small and some fries were not cooked through fully. Good flavor though - garlic and lemon.
The falafel was very good, nice crunch and soft inside with good flavor.
I understand this is their first week of opening, so I’ll give them some time to work out the kinks and try again later on. Really want to support a new local business and hope they are able to work things out.
I usually go to Shawarma King which is...
Read moreSeveral things I am super impressed. Damashkey plate: cooked perfect, carrot and potatoes are full of flavors. I like it to go with fresh salad. Refreshing. But if you can’t bear eating chicken thigh with bones you probably won’t like it but for me it is a gem. The chicken thigh is so well cooked and delicious. Portion is big for me but too small for both my son and I. I remembered the first I ordered it I only ordered one, and end up that both my son and I had to get more because it was so good.
Baklava: small pieces but perfect! (Some places served it loaded with honey and too sweet and stick to my teeth) But I know it is just a taste habit. I like it not too sweet and small. Going perfectly with their black tea (btw the tea pot is so beautiful)
Hummus: perfect flavor.
Baba Ghanouj: it is so surprisingly good. I normally don’t eat much smoked food but this dish has a little bit smoky flavor and interestingly great!
Btw there is after meal dessert sitting area! I love it! I saw a lady and her friend went to sit there and enjoy their coffee/tea along with Blaklava after their dinner. Wish we had more time to really enjoy it there but we...
