Three Bros Hot Chicken (Halal) — Restaurant in Lindenhurst

I walked in here not fully knowing what to expect, as from personal experience chicken places can be very hit or miss. I was greeted by a very friendly and polite staff, with a very nice looking interior to match the feel.

I ordered the Second Bro(chicken slider and chicken tender meal) with the hot headed hot sauce, and loaded Mac and Cheese with beef. I know I have a high spice tolerance so the hot sauce wasn't all that hot for me, but I'd rather it be not spicy enough than too spicy and ruin my meal. I'll just have to get the next level up the next time I go in. I did personally feel that the mac and cheese would've been better if I could have put hot sauce on it like you can with the chicken option, but besides that I could find no fault in my meal. It was made fresh, everything was deliciously tasty, and the wait time to get my food was perfectly reasonable for the amount of people that were there at the time I ordered.

All in all, it's nice to see that strip mall being utilized again after sitting near empty for as long as it did, and three bros is a welcome addition to the community that I plan on...

We got two sandwiches, a loaded Mac and cheese, and a boba ‘frappe’ (not pictured).

Overall, the food was a little bit of a disappointment. The chicken was good in my sandwich, and definitely spicy, but my fiancées chicken was two thin tenders that were very crunchy and less breaded. The fries were decent, and a bit spicy on their own. The loaded Mac and cheese was my favorite part, even though it was obviously leftovers from a prior day: dry and chucked together like it does when you’re home and take some out of the fridge. Boba? It was pretty good, that was my fiancées favorite part.

The service was pretty nice, and presumably one of the owners asked us how it was as we were finishing so I know they care, it just missed the mark for us. They tried to recreate a Dave’s Hot Chicken, but it didn’t work out. I’d rather make the drive to Kenosha for Dave’s.

I ordered on 8/30 and when I got home, there was a long hair encrusted in the chicken. I called to let them know and Udei told me to come back to get a replacement or a refund, but this was late at night and I had just gotten home from work. It was decided that it would be taken care of next time I placed an order. I called a couple of weeks later (today) and explained the situation, and the person who answered immediately refused it saying to "call back tomorrow". I didn't want to order tomorrow. He said I could get "maybe a sandwich or something", then proceeded to put me on hold, but the line was still live. I was on the line for about 10 minutes while I heard him going back to work immediately after. Very disappointing. I initially refused to get a reimbursement because I wanted to pay for I was going to consume, but a hair in a food order is unacceptable in all of food industry.
