Tikka Taproom is a hidden gem that left us absolutely impressed! This place has a perfect blend of vibrant flavors and a lively atmosphere, making every visit a delightful experience. Their Indian fusion menu is a true culinary adventure, offering a variety of dishes and 10 unique sauces that range from mild and creamy to boldly spicy, catering to all taste preferences. We started with the Aloo Tikki Chaat, and it quickly became my favorite dish of the night! The crispy texture paired with the flavorful chutneys created the perfect bite. The Mango Gobi Empanadas were a delicious twist on traditional empanadas, combining global inspiration with Indian flair. We also tried the Saag Paneer, which was rich and creamy, perfectly balanced with their soft, warm Garlic Naan. Tikka Taproom’s drink menu is just as impressive as their food. We had their refreshing Mango Lassi, which paired wonderfully with our meal. The restaurant also boasts a curated selection of premium spirits and elegant cocktails, so whether you’re there for a full meal or just a drink, you’re in for a treat. The star of the evening, though, was the Kheer for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending, with its creamy texture and delicate flavor that truly stole the show. Tikka Taproom is more than just a place to eat—it’s an experience that’s chic, delicious, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore Indian fusion cuisine at its finest!

WOW! I can not believe a place THIS good opened out here! It's really hard to find any "ethnic" food out here. If this place opened up in the city, it would be PACKED every night. Tried their Tikka wings - OMG, I didn't know what to expect but was blown away by the flavor of the wings not to mention the sauce! Fresh hot, buttery garlic naan was perfect, Tikka Masala was thick, with huge chunks of tender breast meat, huge order of tender Tandoori chicken and fluffy rice. I've even stopped in for their Lunch Buffet - 20$ per person and we each got Naan, an appetizer and a decent selection from the buffet! Menu prices are reasonable/average for quality Indian food. I drive by every day during my commute and there are never enough cars in the lot! My god, PLEASE give them a try! I want Tikka Taproom to have a permanent home here in Lindenhurst!

My family ordered quite a bit of food. We ordered what we believed to be 3 different empanadas, aloo tikki chaat, spinach’s paneer, and mango gobi tikka. Only 2 orders of empanadas were made, and we attempted to rectify the situation with the restaurant staff, as we are not well versed in Indian food, but they hung up the phone when confronted with the fact that no mango empanadas were made, and that if what they gave us is correct, don’t call it an empanada of it’s going to come in a deli container as a stew-like item. Other than the service the food is fine. I would recommend dine in to ensure you receive what you want.

First the food: it's outstanding. It's some of the best Indian food I've ever had. It's excellently prepared and seasoned, and they offer generous portions.

Why did I give them a lower mark overall? Because of the atmosphere itself and the service. While the place is clean and tidy, the lighting and cold decor just don't lead to any kind of ambience that I would expect in a restaurant with this kind of food. It feels like you're in a cafeteria. There are no draperies on the windows or any kind of texture to add warmth to the room. The other thing I find off-putting is that there's TVs in there. I'm not here to watch TV, I'm here to dine and have a break from the ordinary. Any Indian restaurant I have ever eaten in has much dimmer lighting and an ambient feeling. There's usually a water feature, maybe some music from that part of the world, just advise that it be more indicative of the nature of the food. Each time we've gone in it also feels like the staff just doesn't know what kind of adult beverages are available, and they seem really busy, but there's usually just us and one other table of people there.

I'm don't usually want to make remarks like this publicly, but I really hope that the owners improve this place in a way that gives it the vibe that it deserves. I'd really like to see it be more of a warm and inviting environment, where you can maybe even sit in a comfy booth and enjoy a quiet evening with your spouse. The food though is fantastic. For now we'll just probably stick with take...

I am probably their #1 customer for their carrot halwa. It is soooo good and nut-free, which is very hard to find. It is my comfort food and reminds me of home. I also buy their hot & sour soup weekly. It’s delicious but need to add tofu or some protein, or more vegetables. Their chicken biryani is amazing. Chicken saag was good but they just added precooked chicken from a different dish into the saag. You could tell because of the red masala coating over it. Butter chicken is really good. They gave me rotted raita today which I’m sure was a mistake they will be careful of next time. I also notice a common trend of their chicken being tough at times, which is from technique/overcooking. A bit overpriced for the quantity and quality at times.

Their staff is so kind and extremely polite. They are always very attentive and will be on standby in case you need anything. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm, comforting and inviting. It is also very clean. Wait time is usually around 10-15 minutes to be served the food which is not bad at all. I highly recommend trying this place! They are still new and not perfect but I’m sure they will improve...
