Crown Chicken and Grill — Restaurant in Lindenwold

Beware!!! I use to be a regular customer here, yesterday they made my order wrong when I got all the way home and realized it I called and spoke to Tajah who then told me if I couldn’t come back yesterday (bc there was no way I could drive back to the restaurant that night as I work from home and had to clock back into work by the time I made it back from picking up the food) it was okay for me to come today and they wld make it correctly and free of charge. Unfortunately, when I came today (as I was told to do) a different guy, whom has checked me out several times and is usually nice, tried to charge me the full price for the same two meals that they made incorrectly the day before he didn’t even work yesterday to know what happened and when I tried to explain it to him, he quickly told me that they remade the order yesterday and had to throw the food away when I didn’t come back to pick it up which made absolutely zero sense at all because I clearly told Tajah that I could not come back the same day due to having to work. Smh. Seems if they remade the order they wld have called me at some point to confirm that I would be picking it up and not just throw it out, but I digress. Sounded like a cover up for not wanting to keep their word. Bottom line, they don’t appreciate loyal customers and they don’t keep their word. My family was eating here twice a week and it’s super sad that the first time I made a complaint about an order (that was made incorrectly) I was told lies and was misguided. They definitely lost a loyal customer….not that they care obviously. If you made a mistake with my order it’s okay… as nobody’s perfect but to lie and waste my time, that’s not okay and it’s not right. I’ll be taking my business where it’s appreciated, with inflation the way that it is, eating out is a luxury in general and having loyal customers to any establishment...

Ever since I moved down here, Crown chicken has been my go-to. I tell my friends and coworkers about it often, and I had to show one worker how good the cheesesteaks were 😆

Almost anything you get comes with fries and a canned soda for a similar price. $12 and some change can get you 5pc chicken, cheesesteak, burgers and more as a combo. You really can't beat that price. The extensive menu surprised me as well, you could go a long time trying new things here. The wait alone is very respectable, just about 6-10 minutes you will receive your food.

The only con I can mention is the environment. However I am not picky on where/how I sit. As long as the food is good 👍 If you are the same, this place is for you.

I had a baby shower and needed 100 wings and they had them all ready on time and super fresh. They were gone so fast at the party. I had to order 50 more for the after party. And the price were so reasonable. I will never stop coming here for their wings. Definitely the lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan with chili sauce will always be...
