The egusi is very good I DoorDash from this spot a good amount of times just for it I really enjoy the egusi i’ve even put my friends on to this spot however the cassava is a bit too watery for my liking. The lady at the front is not very friendly or welcoming the first time I asked for a spicy sauce she told me it only came with it if I ordered the meal so i couldn’t have it because I ordered just the egusi by itself without rice or fufu. This time I go in & order and look at the menu I notice they have potato greens which I also love but wanted to sample them first So I politely asked for a sample of the potatoes greens she tell me it’s all already packed away for the customers. I don’t think she realized if I liked it I would of actually bought it just like I’ve been buying the egusi for the past year… The demeanor that she had, you would’ve thought I asked her for a free meal I start getting money, hungry vibes when I go in there Probably gonna stay away from this place...

Read moreAs someone who regularly enjoys food from Taste of Africa Liberian Kitchen, I just want to clarify—they don’t sell cassava, they sell cooked cassava leaf, which is a totally different dish. I’ve been buying food from them for a while now, and I’ve always had a great experience. The food is flavorful, the portions are generous, and the staff is welcoming. Try the goat soup please, you would like it.
