Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lisle

I have to say this ahead, I am NOT a frequent customer to any chain pizza place. The only reason I ordered from PJ’s was because my community provided a great discount for its residents and I took advantage. This is the same not-so-great pizza as it has always been. I haven’t had it in years and I was reminded why. I was definitely suffering with an upset stomach the following day. But I kind of knew what I was getting myself into! The employee (middle aged blonde woman) was SUPER nice. She was friendly with the 2 young boys ahead of me and still took care of handing me my order while helping them. And she’s my only reason for giving 3 stars. She was great. The pizza wasn’t great, but it wasn’t horrible. Very greasy, and definitely not something I’ll order again. I would like to give a higher review because I know valentines day can be stressful for places that sell heart shaped things. But I cant give higher because this was absolutely nonsense. I ordered pickup for 730, I arrived a few minutes early hoping it might be ready early. I walked in and said hi, the guy was funny and joking but the employees seemed to not really care that there was a lot of customers waiting in the lobby, they put no effort into getting things out to people, they were so backed up that they just gave up. It got to the point where I was there for 30+ minutes waiting and had to end up saying that I just need you to give me whatever food you have made because I needed to go. I was really dissapointed and asked for a refund which was given to me. The one pizza I did get tasted good, but I missed out on like half of my order so I cant really give a...

Customer service is horrible. We walked in and an employee was sitting on the counter (later found out she was a "manager.") The "manager" literally dropped the pizza I was picking up in front of me. She looked at me, tried to put it all back in the box, and then said, "I guess I'll remake it" and just giggled. Left the rest of my order sitting out on the counter getting cold and we had to wait another 15 minutes for our re-made pizza. No apology, no attempt to make it right. We asked for the manager and she giggled and said that she was the manager. When we got our pizzas then she said "the other guy here is also a manager." Talked to him about our concerns and just didn't seem to care. Haven't even eaten the pizza yet but I don't even want it.
