Wellness Center — Restaurant in Lithonia

I recently ate in at this place and I was very disappointed with the way things went. First all it was hot and humid inside the restaurant, I couldn’t eat comfortable and relax. The prices on the menu are wrong and they claimed to be short staff. That’s not my problem and responsible. I ordered a vegan burger with vegan cheese for $1.00 more but they charged me $1.10, I bit into my burger and noticed no cheese SMDH. I asked about it and they came back said sorry we are out of vegan cheese, the cook or someone should have known that. They wasn’t going to say anything about it, they also forgot my avocado for my wrap for $1.00 more. Once again they charged me $1.10, I asked about that and they put it on my burger instead. Smh. The cashier don’t pay attention, she steady having conversation with people she know. They only have two menus to view tape to the counter and the window of food counter. They also had a guy cutting kale at the end of the dining room instead of the kitchen or behind the counter. No gloves or anything that say my hands are clean not to mention he went outside to receive a truck order and back to the table. Smh. The food took about 20 mins to receive it, my advice to the people PLEASE DON’T EAT HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD OR WANT TO BE HOT AND UNCOMFORTABLE. My husband and I found this spot on google and decided to stop by and grab some lunch to go. Customer service was 100% There is a warm welcoming energy when you walk through the door. The food was damn goooooooooood😋 We got a few different things to try because it was our first time there and we wanted to support the black owned business. We purchased spicy Thai kale wrap (omgeee, we almost inhaled the wrap 🤣. So delicious!), 2 smoothies (green love and vibranium ( the green love was good and vibranium smoothie was great and full of flavor), green love burger (succulent and flavorful), a plate for dinner of jerked mushrooms, rice and beans, teriyaki broccoli mac&cheese (Mac&cheese and teriyaki broccoli was superb). We also bought dessert, a slice of cookies and cream cake and a cinnamon roll (desserts were way too sweet in our opinions). We don’t hold that against The Green Kitchen because the dessert were prepackaged from an outside vendor. The other food was worth every penny. Definitely going back real soon, maybe tomorrow, to try other items on the menu.

Also someone mentioned in their review that they had to wait 15-20mins for the food. Yes, because most of the items are made when ordered, except some prepackaged items and the hot bar. I’ve been obsessed with their bacon cheese burger, which I replace the impossible patty with the black bean patty instead for a healthier option. It hits everytime🙌🏽. Today that burger put me in such a good mood I just had to finally write a review! The burger is so fulfilling as it also comes with a side of fries, but my greedy self wants another one so bad😭every bite was absolutely delicious! I swear I have to try their other menu items because I’ve heard so many great things about it I mean the reviews say it all🫶🏽. I also tried their smoothies before and it’s so refreshing and tasty, also very healthy it always gives me that boost of energy I need and I can taste every amazing ingredient they put in it🙌🏽😋. And I can’t finish this review without mentioning the amazing staff✨. They’re always so welcoming with bright smiles across their faces I just love the positive energy🥰. One of them even remembered me from a few months back so it’s the little details like that that make you feel so appreciated and welcomed.
