Well first I would like to say that the updates to the store are nice and I love the rewards program but I wish they had upgraded their employees as well. I come to this store frequently because it's small and simple. On Feb 29 I called the store around 6pm I had to call the store about 4 times before anyone would answer. Then finally someone answers sounding very reluctant to do so (also sounded like a bunch of paper being rattled in the back ground or maybe the phone is bad) I only wanted to know what time the seafood department closed. I was told 8 and headed to the store, I went to the seafood department first to get crabs steamed and the guy just had a very nasty attitude and barely wanted to speak to the point I couldn't hear his responses he tells me I only had a few minutes to do so and it wasnt even 7pm yet i was told over the phone i had till 8...his attitude threw me off and I didn't even want the food anymore. I never let anyone give me food that presents bad energy. Second the ladies cashiers I normally see in the morning/day are typically nice maybe because they are older but when I come in later in the day attitudes galore. If there are 3 cashier gathered having fun why would I go to self checkout when they are being paid to do the check me out it's like they have an mini heart attack because you don't want to use self checkout. Then there is one girl, the only way I can describe her is brownskin with some acne and she has braids or wigs to be a little more specific shes sometimes do self checkout overrides ID checks or cashier sometimes she may be by the office door maybe mid 20s. But she is the worst never speak and just has an attitude for no reason but I don't care because I'm just there for groceries not friends. She also throws your groceries in the bag. I will say the ladies that I see in the seafood department are nice. Today is March 4 and this sat in head ever since because I'm always nice I speak and engage. I always say I'm going to write a review but I alway change my mind and give the benefit of the doubt but that was it for me im way too nice. You don't have to engage but atleast speak and act like you are the one who applied for this job no one is forcing you to be there but yourself their are plenty of jobs for people with...

I have been patronizing this store on and off for a few years. I mostly shop for the fresh and frozen produce and for the fresh and smoked meats that are on sale. I STRONGLY ADVISE that you remove the plastic wrap from the meats to smell them to be sure of the freshness, especially for the reduced priced items. Sometimes the produce is not good like the bag of lemons I bought which had a sour taste from fall 2024. Mother's day 2024 I bought a spiral ham that had expired 8 days prior to my buying it; the ham already was discolored and had developed an unpleasant taste. At times the register does not scan sale items correctly. This store's employees follow the former return policy which is time sensitive rather the current one which favors the correction of any store-related errors; I advise that you to get help from the manager Bill. I have attached the pictures of the women's bathroom. That bathroom is cramped with two stalls, so if you are very overweight, this bathroom may be a problem to use, especially if crowded. To wash your hands, the door doesn't bend back and forth to easily get to the sink. You must first close the door to have more room. Get here early for the sales. The printing of the receipts is very bad here, causing the receipts to be difficult to rethem. The digital coupons do not always work plus you may not earn points for shopping. Use coupons if you have them. I think the prices here are better than publix and somewhat better than Walmart and Kroger for certain items. I wish the customer service was better here. This is a neighbor market located in downtown City of Lithonia. It's a market I frequent from time to time because the best thing there is the meat selection. The meat is fresh and reasonable price. They carry a good fruit and vegetable department but don't go there looking for organic because they only carry maybe a handful at best. They have a small wine section and frozen food selection as well. This market has weekly specials so look at their online AD before going. Also there are no public rest rooms, no delivery of grocery or curbside pick up. They do have an ample parking lot and the market is always clean, well lit and easy to navigate. If you just need a missing grocery item or a quick grocery stop before heading home and don't want a crowd this is a sure bet of getting you in and out.
