Mica Club — Restaurant in Little Egg Harbor Township

My dad, Erich Rauer, recently passed away. I just wanted to share that this was one of his favorite places, he had a lot of good times with all his friends here, especially with his good friend Doug. Unfortunately in the past few years his illness prevented him from being able to hang out with everyone here as much as he would have liked to. But that didn’t stop him from sharing some stories of fun times here. On occasion my sister Kim or I had the pleasure of joining him for a few drinks. He was very proud of his German heritage, was a great fisherman back in the day, loved soccer and watching the FIFA World Cup, and a NY Giants fan for as long as I can remember.

But anyway, I just wanted to share the memory. I included a few pictures dad had sent me, of some good times he had over the past few years...

We rented the room for a private party recently. When we arrived the room was fully decorated for a past party. We were told they were not going to take down the decorations. We did it ourselves even tho we were told we weren’t allowed to. In addition, the room was dirty. We washed the floors and the tables ourselves too. They were uninterested that all this could have ruined a family party that was planned for months. I would never rent from these...
