Mystic Island Pizza — Restaurant in Little Egg Harbor Township

After waiting an hour and ten minutes (after being told 30-40 min) to receive this... luke warm pizza, and soggy cold garlic knots with no sauce. (Ordered from here before and never had to ask for sauce before which according to the manager you have to) I called after an hour and I said "I called an hour ago" and before I could give a name, the girl on the phone said "oh it should be on its way the driver just left" how does she know who I am before I even give a name? I called to let them know what happened and that also the delivery driver took the food out of his truck and I received an attitude from the manager and as I was speaking she interrupted me and said that she doesn't have you're to go back and forth with me. I was not looking for compensation just wanted to let her know the issue and I was received with someone being brut. The cheese is completely settled and I can scrape the garlic in oil with a knife. Good food and pizza. But their cheesesteaks and subs totally stink. If you ask for a large you get two smalls. And the amount of meat is the chinciest I've seen. If they had good cheesesteaks and hoagies, they could probably increase their business considerably. Their subs are nothing special. If it were me I'd realize you have to have something special and unique to the area to draw people in. And that increases business with everything else you have to offer. A little business sense...And if you don't have an Ameroso roll and bready N.J. roll your sandwiches stink too. If you cut a roll completely in half for a cheesesteak or any sub I'll walk out. People want to eat it, not wear it. GREAT cheese steaks are a key. Portofinos has the best cheesesteak in Little Egg Harbor. And know for a fact I could beat theirs convincingly. Mystic Pizza's are the lamest I've seen. Buy a large roll for God's sake and fill it and charge 14.00 or even 16.00! People will pay willingly for a great steak or sub FILLED with lots of meat!!! Won’t be coming here again.

Started calling them at 9:05. Online it says they close at 10:00pm. I call and call for 15 minutes straight with no answer. Finally I drive to the store and go up to the window (cuz of covid) and she tells me they’re closed. I explained to her that I had been calling and no one answered- not even a voice message saying they were closed or anything- and she told me “yeah it’s really whenever we feel like it.” Okay, not like I drove out here in the freezing cold only to have this place waste 40 minutes of my life. Never going there again.

P.s. I should’ve listened to all the people from school who said this place was dirty and not run well and I should’ve taken the fact that none of them were wearing masks as warning signs not to eat here. Would’ve gone to Vesuvios if it hadn’t been for the fact that it’s Monday and...
