Ordered online for pick up, 3 - Naan and 3 orders of Samosas totaling 9 samosas. Wife picked it up and thought it was not complete so she asked is this all of it, was told yes. She brings it home and I see it is not complete so I look at the receipt and it does not have the Samosas just the Naan. I tried to call them but phone says not accepting calls at this time. I tried for a day and a half to call them and finally got a call through. Told them I was charged 34 dollars for 3 orders of Naan and wanted a refund on the Samosas. The lady told me the Samosa machine was broken that day and I could give them my name and i could get the Samosas when I come in. I tried to pick the Samosas up the next day and they had no record of it. So their machine was broken, they knew the order was not complete at pick up, no refund and no replacement. Basically they stole my money and I wonder how many others have fallen prey to this. Also, I have been in there to order food and it has taken over 30 minutes to make my meal with just 1 other family in the store. I called in my next order and was told 30 minutes so I waited 30 then drove there to pick up. Order was not ready and i had to wait another 30 minutes for them to get the order ready. While I waited 10 different orders came in and were served before they got mine ready. Oddly enough I was the only white person eating there. This has happened to my friend, his wife, his daughter, my wife and my son all who have all been waiting on food for 30 minutes plus while any brown person comes in and gets food within 5 minutes of ordering. Read moreLast Tuesday, we ordered mutton ghee roast biryani, but it was spoiled. This is the fourth order we have placed in the last two weeks. This is the first time we have had spoiled food; when I informed them about it, they said they would replace it, and I asked them to make a note of it so it would not be a problem, then I called and asked to replace it with chicken fry Pulav, they said okay.But when we walked in, they were delaying, so I asked what was wrong; Are you guys delaying because it is a replacement order.
The lady at the billing counter was telling me that, you should have returned on the same day so that we could check the biryanu to see if it was spoiled or not, and this is something people do for free food. I can not put into words how I felt after hearing it. I told her that the way you are talking is not good, and no one would lie for free food , also I told her that I have snapshot of the amount debited along with call history then she tried to cover it up .
When I called them right away on Tuesday, they did not even ask me to return it; instead, they apologized and offered to replace it.

First Visit : Called them and asked for samosa, they said yes and we drove all the way from Plano for our night cribbing for samosa. Upon reaching they didn't have any samosas. They offered us biryani but biryani i can have it anywhere in Dallas as every desi restaurant is making biryani biryani and biryani (easy poesy). I started to hate biryani now :P
Second visit : They had samosa but you wont believe it, they got the samosa patty either from Pat* bro* or India baz* and it was the most pathetic samosa of my life. Then we thought lets try a dosa which was just average nothing exceptional about it. Finally we cook chicken curry which took longer than a movie to reach to us 55min of wait.
Overall, Until i don't get any good reviews I am not wasting my time, energy and money on Chowrastha :)
Sitting : you will have to ask a person who is having his food to move aside as they have lots of sitting with so much less space. They dont want any one to wait but everyone to adjust. BAD experience both the time and they need to work on there sitting position and interior if they are offering dine in. NO PICS available, cant waste my cloud...
